Great eastern cutlery 25 beerlow

My likely only beerlow has arrived. Still holding out hope to grab a barglow acrylic too. Can confirm that the blade is small, but effective at cutting fingers.

Gorgeous. Very nice figure on that one.

I used my Osage today to cut up a banana. The cap-lifter cutout got filled with banana. I was amused. The banana was as wide as the entire blade is long but the slices looked good -- sharp, clean.

GF walks over and sees me smiling at the tiny banana knife and says "we have real knives, y'know?" That cracked me up.

I like these things.

I’ve been super tempted by the red sawcut bone version off and on, but think I will pass on this one. All day, I’ve thought “I could buy this tonight at a drop or a really nice Case Swayback Bose knife in antique bone.” Roughly the same price.

I just bought the Case/Bose Swayback instead to keep me from buying the Beerlow.

Now let’s just hope that cocktail hour doesn’t lead me to buying both…

I could've, but I've already got an Osage with a Coral Canvas Micarta and Barglow on the way.

I maybe would've gone for a Cocobolo but I never even saw the status change from "out of stock."

I'm just happily spectating at this point, but I do hope most of them went to folks that will use them.

Congrats on the score - which flavor did you nab?

Edit: Ah, I see Red Sawcut! Very nice!

I really couldn’t decide I almost bought both . I bought the Bocote first love the grain pattern couldn’t resist . Then went back to buy a red saw bone and they were all sold out except for the Osage wood .
