I took a few minutes with my point and shoot to get a few angles of the new Trial GEC Bull Nose Work knife.

My question is to find how much interest there is in this knife AS IS. If there is no interest thats okay. If there is interest with changes applied, then speak your mind :)

In case anyone is looking this closely at the pics (I didn't at first), there is a small piece of polishing cloth stuck on the liner of the knife near the tang of the blade. That is not a gap.

I like the overall look, but I would get rid of the orange scales and add stag or some other natural material. I think O1 is a great choice..

I picked "as is" but I guess I really need to know the overall specs of the knife. I would hate to get one and end up with a pocket sword. I really like it though.

For actual work, I feel a 4" handled knife would suit me better than 3 3/4" closed. Other than that, a great looking piece. Awesome that it's in 01 steel!

I would like to have one as is but I'm pretty sure I'd pick one up if they made another run with some small changes as well. Although I really like the orange handle so as is would be great.

Good point, thank you. I added the dimensions that I know :)

I also think that since its supposed to be a "work knife" I would like it to be larger, say 4.25 inches closed. This would make them better when you have think gloves on.

I would also like to see them available in stag/bone, wood(s), acrylics, etc.
O-1 is similar to 1095 right?

Love sod buster type knives, especiallly in carbon steel . Wouldn't mind a higher end scale material as an option but I like this knife as is too. Very cool in orange as opposed to the common pale yellow.

I like everything about the one that was made, except one thing....the color. Sorry, being born and raised in Memphis makes me a bit partisan, but nothing sucks like big Orange. Make it yella or black or anything but orange.

I like it as is, and would really like to get one, but $60 seems like a lot of cash for a sodbuster. If the price were somewhere around $40, I'd be all over it! :D

I'd love one!

Safety orange isn't my fave- more either bright yellow or Red Wings red- but orange would do nicely. Love soddies.

I prefer the cleaner, flat brass rivet construction on Case's version.

On this one, I love how the back corner of the tang barely protrudes when closed. Always hated that on the Case.

Lastly, the size is perfect as is.

Love everything about the knife except the color. Any other color but orange, please! Well, not chartreuse but you know what I mean... :D

Micarta would be awesome too...
