First experience with GEC customer service was, in a word, amazing.

Northfield #23 Pioneer, brand new, needed a slight adjustment.

Sent the knife Priority Mail (along with a brief note) on a Wednesday, and that very Friday
I received an email that the knife had been repaired and was being returned to me Federal Express Ground.
It arrived Tuesday.

6 day turnaround including shipping both ways!!

And not only was the adjustment taken care of perfectly; but in addition the handle scales (wood) were beautifully oiled to bring out the grain,
and the blade was sharpened to a hair popping edge.

I've almost always been really pleased with the customer service of quality knife companies, but this experience was really outstanding.
Definitely thought it deserved a mention with a big :thumbup:.
 
It's especially good to hear, considering how much publicity GEC is getting for its solid, working designs. Now we know we can really depend on them.
 
I sent one of mine in and Christine the sales lady updated me that they would ship it out within the next couple of days. They are good people. So +1.
