Great Eastern Cutlery ( GEC ) group shots / photo requests

Here's a group of GEC's that came together unexpectedly well.

I am planning on whittling my own beads but for the moment these will have to do.

Don't have a group shot of my GECs as I've never had more than one at once. These are the ones I have owned though.

Thanks ~P. ;)

I´ve almost nearly forgotten, that we have a thread like this :)

Thanks for adding my pics in here.

Kind regards
Andi

I wish they made somethign 1095 the size on my single blade tiny trapper (carb blue like the one on page1), I love how small and thin that is, regardless I jumped on the 25eo band wagon and bought one in stag, should be here friday. This is going to get expensive!!

Bringing this thread back up...
Here's a group trapper shot with the #23, #48, #73, and #74.

Here's a group of GEC lockers (I forgot to add the #45 which has a locking saw...). #23LL, #65LB, #72LB, #73LL, and a #73 based auto. Don't have a #42. It would fit between the hogan and mini hunter.

Nice Trand, really like that pumpkin auto

I have a request. Anyone got a #53 stockman with a muskrat main blade and a #79? Could you line up the coping/sheepsfoot blades so I could see the difference? Would really appreciate it, thanks

Just finished looking back through all six pages of this thread. There are some remarkably beautiful knives posted here -- thank you all for showing your treasures to us!

This is not really a good comparison, because the only GEC knives I currently own are both 66 frame knives, but it will show the different blade configurations between the jack and the moose.

i am mostly a fixed blade guy. but, i have recently started looking at these traditional slipjoints. flymon...what is that large yellow one? not the cigar one. the big one. i dig that handle shape. thanks.

I'll answer for Flymon. That is a #23 Pioneer pattern. Single blade. Flymon surprised me by giving that one to me. It was my first GEC, and first traditional for me in about 25 years.

Here is a small compasrion between the #79 and the #53. My #53 is the "Cuban Castro", it's a beast.53_79_closed.jpg53_79_sheep detail.jpg53_79_sheep.jpg53_79_sheep_2.jpg53_79_together_open.jpg

Ach, I thought I remembered another "GEC's together" thread.

I just posted mine up in this thread, but will include some shots in this thread as well for future Seekers.

In which everyone attempts to stand up straight and look at the camera, but the stag 25s angle their thickness into the glare, the Boys Knife reveals that it got into something specky white right before, and the Apple Jack slouches:

Might as well show a few more. I'll post more when I get a chance to take some more pictures.
