great eastern service sucks

now im starting to wonder if i was denied service because of hukk- who moderates another forum-might he have given them my personal info so they knew whos knife it was?
and does this make gec out to be a vindictive company for acting like that?

If The Last Confederate is able to get his knife serviced, you just might right.
 
boy its going to be hard to keep my mouth shut about hukk and aapk forum-

you deleted the post at aapk-so whos getting the money from a knife company-btw i did edit to keep him happy,not happy enough i guess-

btw-if a get a good knife i am just as zealous about good postings about it-and i also think his "real startup" excuse for them is asinine and the no photo from me stuff is a sad attempt to make me out to be a azz-i would love to meet him face to face for those remarks-

Naw, it's always easy to find a fool, just follow his remarks, the internet isn't that big. I do not have access to his personal information, to suggest so is just foolish. Been nothing but a troll, so real easy to find. We all have the right to free speech, it is normal to know when to stop, abnormal to carry on a tirade over a couple little knives for several weeks. Ok to complain about a company, but 20 posts that are all rants, come on, that is abnormal and tiresome. Brings absolutely NOTHING to the table that is positive.

so what was positive about my experience with gec-nada nothing zilch-
but hey if you enjoy buying resold seconds at full price -better for you-
go back to your little nazi world and delete some more posts you dont like-

It is great Eastern Cutlery that should have brought something positive to the table by being willing to work with someone that bought one of their knives. If I really liked a knife, but there was a small problem with it and the company told me that all they would be willing to do was give a refund, I would not be too happy. In my book, that is poor customer service. I wouldn't want a refund, I would want a knife that didn't have any problems.
 
Poor service is poor service.

If they will refund but not exchange or repair it shows poor faith in their product and/or their cutlers' ability to fix the problem.THAT should send out an alarm signal surely?

Had a problem recently with an English knife, abysmal quality,terrible fit.Eventually they reply to my e-mail and promise a replacement AND compensation.Not too bad (I hope):thumbup:
 
i bought six g.e.c. knives. one had a problem. i sent it back to the factory. it was returned in a short time completly fixed.

But whatever, your posting has made me think twice about ordering that Herringbone scout knife, especially as it has to be mail order:eek:
 
Just from another perspective. I have two out of 10 that will be going back. (I hope). The only thing I see wrong with them is the ink used to mark the blade has run. Other than that, those two and the other 8 have no imperfections that I can see. Possibly by eyes are not a focused as some of the long time collectors but the quality I've seen is on par with the Schatt Morgan I own ( except the two with poor marks)

oh i dont know i mighta been a little pissed myself in the same situation, like keith said if the other gentleman got his fixed why didnt they fix roscoes or send him another?? whats your connection to the company?? and if there is no connection why in the world would you care??

and you are the one going forum to forum disputing him, just wondered what up with that.

also why hasnt the company come to this forum and posted there side of the story??

again, just wondering WTF...........
 
I won't be ordering one sight unseen. If they give one fellow bad service, I may be the next one. I think a new company should be on the ball with their customer service. To bad they can't show up here and give an explanation of their goals in customer service.
