Great Grandpa's Knife

Yep, the family history really does make it priceless. Hopefully one day it will become my son or daughter's knife. We just found out my wife is pregnant but it's too early to tell if get's going to be a boy or girl...
Nick,
I almost had a tear in my eye while reading your original thread.
With your added post I seem to have got something in my eyes, probably steel shavings.
Your thread MADE my day. Besides being a REALLY NEATO KNIFE, Your Family History can
be shared with the knife long into the future.
And I agree with Gevonovitch, This place IS GREAT

I'm so glad to have made your day Tim, because you also made mine! :)

Also, thank you so much to everyone that has contributed to this thread!!! The folks in the traditional forum are an amazing group of people and this thread is proof... I think it might be time for a GAW ;)

That's a really cool knife. Thanks for making the thread it's always nice to see a knife and read about its history.

As much as I enjoy buying an old knife at a flea market and researching its history, I can only imagine what it would be like if it had been passed down in my family! Just wonderful.
