Fishface,

Yes, I believe I sold you a Spydie Dragonfly in April 2000, yes?

Sorry for the mis-naming; I've corrected it above. And thanks again for a smooth, "win-win" sale!

Three more of The Good-there's no doubt-that I've had the pleasure of doing business with lately. You've seen their names before. They are Lanning Kann, Dann Fassnacht aka glockman99, and Jonny Laio. Thanks guys!

I want to add Roy Leonard (Roy) to the list, hes a good guy to deal with, just don't be surprised if he asks you to send trades and such to a friends house, his wife is NOT a knife person.

Jake

I just completed a very satisfactory transaction with Cobalt. He even shipped before receiving my money. Please add him to the list, Jackyl. TIA.

Chief is already up there as well as Jim O'Young. Both guys I have dealt with. Great folks. I would also like to add NowhereFast to the list. Donald was great to deal with. Everything went off without a hitch. I also just placed an order with MacTheKnife. He is very friendly and keeps me updated on knives. Please add him to the list also.

Another stand-up guy:

Steve B.

As pain-free as a deal can be. Knife came in record time. All around good guy. Thanks Steve!

Hi,

I would like to add to the list. The following folks are those I have personally dealt with. There would probably be more, but, you know, the $$$ thing...

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
- Karl Young of SOFKnives. - I just ordered a D/A LCC from him. I have personally spoken with him, and he is VERY knowledgeable about edged tools. He even cut me even more of a break on the price, so that he could Fed-Ex the order to me!!! (On it's way as we speak...I can't wait!!) He is good to talk to and honest. He is a certified MT dealer, and knows their product line well. He also sells at VERY reasonable prices. I WOULD NOT HESITATE to do business with him again, when I have the $$$ that is. He is very helpful, and answers emails promptly, even if you are just asking him questions. But, don't ask him what he does; it's a secret...

All kidding aside, he is a top notch guy. I suggest you visit his site. Also, he recently had his first child, and congrats are in order. Keep up the good work Karl!!

- Danny at 888knivesrus.com.
I have personally purchased from him, and have spoken with him on the phone. He is a down to earth guy; no BS. He will tell it like it is. His prices are good, and he is prompt and easy to deal with. I will definitely deal with him again.

And, for your NON-Auto needs...

- Fred at KnifeOutlet.com
I have also personally dealt with him, and, if he is listening, will be doing so again in the very near future! I have also spoken on the phone with him, and again, a great guy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable about knives.

I just wanted to add these fellows to the growing list of others. They are ALL top notch!!

Ciao!!

Jake

BTW, thanks for keeping the list current, Jackyl.

No problem man!!! It's the least I can do to offer my support for BFC. Let's take this baby over the 200 post mark!!!

176 posts, and not a single name has been disputed.

However, I have removed 2 or 3 names in the past. Keep it up guys...Hell, my list is almost as long as yours.

ALl I ask is that nothing is done to get this thread locked, and please...PLEASE, check the list to make sure you're not listing a duplicate. Thanks!!!

Add DonL to the list! Just bought an Umfaan from him and it was a very VERY smooth transaction. Seems like one of the good guys!

Glad to see this is still going as well!

I recently recieved a Texan model from Lynn Griffith, my first knife directly from this maker. He answered my e-mails promptly, was personable and professional, and a pleasure to do business with. Wouldn't hesitate having him make me another blade....
