GPKnives would rather not make the sale if they know that you may not like the quality of the item you ordered. In 2 of the last 3 orders I placed with them, they held the order to notify me that the one or two of the knives were not to my liking. I always ask them to check lockup or blade centering. They had the knives in question in stock and at the BEST price. But they felt it was more important to keep a happy customer than make the sale. On two orders they contacted me to say that an item on my order was not as centered as I like.

They then give me the option to cancel, buy anyway or choose something else and they will check the quality of that item as well. This has been going on with them for at least 6 months. With me anyway.

I don’t know how it can get any better?

I have dealt with Justin at GPKnives recently and he gave me a terrific deal on a BM 806SBK-901 LE, it was actually the last one he had in stock. I received the order confirmation on Saturday and on Monday the knife was already on its way.:thumbup:
 
I was going to call them for the same knife. I had the head start needed as well from the BM Forum You're there too..right? Anyway, I decided to leave that knife for those in the forum who wanted it more and in my opinion DESERVED it. I saved up enough for a 615 Mini-Ruk by then and decided to pull the trigger at GPK. Worked out well. I would never have saved enough for one and GPK had the best price plus they will make sure it's in perfect condition. I'm a pain in the butt when it comes to lock-up, blade play, centering etc. No problem for them.
