Greetings All
I want to check interest in holding an event in N.E. Ill. in June sometime. I have a friend and customer who runs a pub with a small park attached and he has offered the use of the park. Lots of parking and space to throw a tent if you want to spend the night. At this time he says that he will supply soda, coffee, some food, electric, and tarps if we need them. The best part is it's right on the banks of the Fox river. You could call it "Forging on The Fox" but I don't want it to be all forging. I want to see some grinders out there too. If we could get a few people to give mini demos I think we might have a good thing on our hands. And when all the forging and grinding is done there is always the pub that we get the run of. He is even putting up a sign in a corner that has a table and a couple of chairs that says "Knifemakers Corner". This guy likes knives and Knifemakers. So, what do you say? Any demonstrators and participants out there?
