Great Movie Knives

the bowie from "last of the dogmen" the knife Tom Berenger uses-it's awesome initially I thought it was a flat grind then I started looking for one , their made by patton knives in Idaho and there hollow grind.

Im very sure I saw a partially serrated saber grind stainless steel delica in the trailer for the new Sanctum film.

Has nobody mentioned 300 yet? I watched that movie a few days ago and the slowmo scenes where buddy whips our his sword and is dismembering guys is just pure blade porn. Busse needs to build something like that and send it back in time. The spartans would be invincible.

Pierce Brosnan seems to like William Henrys in The Matador.

The second knife looks like a pretty plain spearpoint (can't see the handles), but that first one might be one of the nicest folders ever featured in a movie. A B07 Westcliff, limited production or possibly one-of-a-kind.

Are either of those D/A autos?

William Henry doesn't make D/A's, as far as I know. The top one is definitely a manual, you can see him open it in the movie.

Big Trouble in Little China, airport scene with Jeff Imada using a Pacific Cutlery Balisong.

huh, I didn't know that was Jeff Imada

huh, I didn't know that was Jeff Imada

In fact, the balisong he's using is a Bali-Song Inc/Pacific Cutlery "Imada High Hollow" model.;)

He also whips out a balisong in Lethal Weapon 4, and IIRC also Escape from L.A. and Payback. And possibly others that I haven't seen.

From Stallone's Cobra and created by legendary knifemaker,
Herman Schneider.

Night Stalker's EDC, err..ENC.

When I saw the episode, I thought it was a SOG mini Pentagon that Dexter uses to kill Lila (closeup at 1.44), but at a closer look, the blade grind seems a bit different..

edit: Maybe it's a full sized Pentagon after all. It looked a bit short, but maybe it was just the angle.

Add another switchblade to the list Thomas jane in Give em hell Malone carries a 9 incher along side a Mateba revolver. Not a great movie but I like it a lot keeping it on my dvr cool action cheesy yet snappy dialogue probably the closest were gonna get to a sin city sequel. Also Doug Hutchinson doing his best Ledger-Joker as a pyromaniac enforcer that alone is worth the price of admission.
