Great Movie Knives

Knives from some of my favorite movies.

Death Wish 2 -- I know this is the poster for 3, I just like it the best.

That second pic is actually from Death Wish 1. It's from the scene in the first vid below at 4:05. There is a quick knife scene from Death Wish 2 in the second vid below, at 1:28, and there is a scene from Death Wish 3 close to the beginning of the third vid below...

Spyderco police in Hard Target starring Jean Claude Van Damme. The knife is used by the professional hitman Pik Van Cleef played by Arnold Vosloo to cut off the money belt

Opening scene

Then again about half way through the movie

Same scene with knife fully open

The indian knife from the jungle book, I love the blades of the orient, indian most of all.

I think I am the first to mention the Gerber that Scott Glenn hides behind his leg when confronting John Travolta in Urban Cowboy

For me its movies likelast of the mohicans and the patriot. Knives and hawks made by Frank House and Dan winkler. Also the longrifles and pistols made by the House brothers in the Patriot and Master & Commander..

I saw some people mention Leon's knife from Resident Evil 4, the Mercworx Sniper, but Krauser's knife I find to be much cooler. Sure it's a combination of the MOD CQD MKIV and the Mercworx Proeliator and I could never get one, but I love it. Also the Spyderco Harpy from Hannibal again. That was the first time I saw such a mean looking folder.

Swiss Army Knife used by Robert Redford in Three Days of the Condor.

SAK in right hand.

Me too. Would it really have killed the movie budget to spend an extra few hundred bucks and get a real Dalton? I suppose they just figure that the vast majority of the audience won't know the difference...and they're probably right.

the whole line about knives and gunpowder being cheap would have less impact if joker was carrying around a microtech.

Its hard to tell because there's never any real focus on it in that scene.

its either a buck 110 with the auto work done to it (cant wait to buy one) or a 110 clone auto...when watching it moving you can make it out better then with stills.

From the soon to be released [straight to DVD] film "Ticking Clock" w/Cuba Gooding Jr.

Two questions:

What knife is that?

What in the hell happened to Cuba Gooding Jr's career?
