Great Movie Knives

I haven't seen a mention of the knife Bishop uses in Aliens when he pins Bill Paxton's hand to the table. No idea what it is but I always LMAO when I watch that scene.

It's either a Gerber Mark2 or a Mark 2 clone. The Gerber Mark 2's were frequently carried by US troops during the Vietnam war, in various blade and handle configurations.

While I'm on the topic, the only move about the Vietnam war that I can remember seeing a Mark2, both seen and being used by a soldier, is "84charliemopic". Actually a pretty good movie.

I also forgot, the boot knife that Kurt Russell had in "big trouble in little china"?

I wanted one of them for ages :)

You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?
Who?
Jack Burton. *Me*!
Sorry I had to post that :)

Thanks. It looked very familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it. And yes, 84 Charlie Mopic was a great flick. I thought Platoon sucked though, as did all the Vietnam vet NCOs I had when I first enlisted.

and when the man comes to you and says "have you payed your dues"

..... "yes sir, the checks in the mail..."

His character in this is hilarious :)

Don't know if this has been mentioned but the first time I saw a "spyderhole" was in a movie called Terminal Velocity with Charlie Sheen and James Gandolfini.
Gandolfini's character carries this folder that he opens with 1 hand using the spyderhole. For the life of me I cant recall what the knife was but in later years I realised it was easily identifiable as a Spyderco due to the hole and the serrations.

From Columbiana, Buck 119.

Saw another one.
Chronicles of Riddick with Vin Diesel and others. Prison guard takes out a knife to kill Riddick (Diesel). Cols Steel Recon Tanto.

I love seeing knives in movies and saying to People Oh thats a ____. It makes me feel like a true knife nut :) Also has anyone seen Reindeer Games? With Ben Afflac. There was a Microtech (Halo I Think) In it.

Hello to all! I'm a new user and this is my first post. I'm currently watching the movie "This Mean War" and I noticed a knife stabbed into the desk of the english CIA agent. It is stabbed into a stack of papers on his desk. It is a folder and I can't seem to identify it. It's driving me nuts! Can any knife nuts out there enlighten me on the make and model of this blade. Thanks!

Screen shot? Or at least describe the specific part of the movie so we won't have to watch the whole movie again.

I spelled the movie wrong it's "This Means War." I've been searching high and low for a screen shot online. However I was unable to find one. The scene is the one where the two agents are showing each other the picture of the girl on their laptops. The trailer actually doesnt show the knife in the papers as the movie does. Any help from anyone would be awesome.
