great smithery

That's not what he said.

"So in the end, it managed to be repaired without any damage or any real smithery... " emphases added

Perhaps I'm missing why some want to ridicule this person???

Excellent close reading. So it would appear this thread has been made in error...

Mark, why won't you reply?

Hey OP, I seem to remember your thread about your broken Bear Grylls knife.

Is your objective for this thread to get some ideas for how you could repair it?

With, or without, some master smithery???

Maybe somewhere in-between, but let's not jump to conclusions here just yet.
Perhaps we should wait patiently for him to enlighten us!

Is the "smithery" topic been done to death? I don't know...I don't really spend a lot of time in the Maintenance, Tinkering, and Embellishment or Knife Makers' subforums.

Seems like the guy is posing a valid question. Is there reason to believe he isn't? That's the vibe I'm getting.

thanks bud for stickin up for me. yep i was talking about the knife repair thread with the cool smithery. i had done some before but i still aint good with the camera, ill get some pictures up at some point to show off my favorite knifes.

dont much remember ever having a bear grylls knife, i had a old mtech that my buddy broke doing some repairs on the tractor but i dont think any amount of smithery gonna fix that one. just ended up letting him keep that one because i didnt want that mess back.

We've got your back Mark, you know you can count on your buddies.

i dont much appreciate you calling me by the wrong name. its joe. thats the name my momma gave me and thats what all my buddies call me and I've come to be pretty fond of it over my life.
Sorry buddy must have got you confused with another good buddy[emoji2][emoji106]

Marci will always have your back! Looking forward to seeing your favoritest knifes. Let us know if you have any difficulties trying to upload pics.

Ahhh that's right, it was an mtech!!
Anyway, a good buddy of mine is wanting to get a survival knife that isn't too expensive. So what would you recommend - mtech, bear grylls, or something else???

Never know what you're gonna get when Don Ho starts a thread, but it will be entertaining!!

I'm sure everyone would love to see it...at the very least it would help disprove this weird assumption other folk appear to be making, i.e., that you are some person named Mark who has returned under another screenname for the sole purpose of creating trollish crap-posts.

hey buds here a cool video i found on the you tube that has some good smithery. thought you would all like to see it here to. anyone have their own smithery to show?
