First off I want to thank GunKnifenut for finding us a beautiful pice of property to hang out in. Allthough it was a swamp. It was frozen though, so no one got wet!

There were 7 of us today and 4 are still there freezing there buts off and getting a crap load of snow dumped on them right now. Even though I prefer my winter camping in say.... Florida I do wish I could of stayed.

We had a great time BSing, practicing skills, eating by the camp fire, building a huge shelter, and checking out the forrest that would most likely be unaccessible in warmer months.

We had a but load of knives but axes reigned supreme here!

My new NWA Camp knife provrd to be an excellent knife in all applications.

The wood in the next pic was split with the NWA, Gene's Tracker by Martins is in there just to make the NWA look even better ; )

Seriously though, Gene used the Tracker all day and it performed well for him.
Not my style of knife, but I will not knock it........ anymore

We left Gene, Geme's Brother, Simon, and Andrew there a lil before 5pm. A heavy snow storm was coming in which Marcelo and I drove through for 2 & 1/2 hours. I think the shelter we all built will keep the snow off them, but it will be interesting to see how warm they are.

Plus this is all the fire wood they had when we left!

Siguy and Andrew will be back tomorrow when they thaw out to post more pics,

It really was a great time, with alot of laughs!

Tony the pictures look like it was a great time camping between falling snow. I know that area got blasted last night, and this morning with snow. We even got a few inches down here in Central NJ, but alas minus the campout.

Great pics!

Looks like you guys had a terrific time. Impressive shelter work!

tonym, I love that NWA camp knife.

Thanks for sharing. Us Ontario folks will have to arrange something like this some time.

All the best,

- Mike

Thanks for sharing the great photos.
Looks like a good time was had by all.
I sure hope that I can make one of these gatherings soon.
Work and family have me tied down until at least Feb.

awesome pics Tonym! That looks like a hell of a time and one kick ass shelter.

Now just what are you going to do with those wet green fuzzies?

Aside from showing off the prowess of that amazing NWA knife that is :D

Great stuff Tony!

Love the pics and hearing about the activities. Wish I could make it up to meet everyone - maybe sometime this year!

I ended up skiing today so it was good - no knives really but outdoor fun none the less.

Can't wait to see and hear more! Glad you made it home safe and hope everyone is warm enough that is still out.

awesome pics Tony... looks like a lot of fun bro... once again, i wish i could have been there...:o

Great stuff Tony.

Looks like Gene came up with a first class location for a winter gathering.

I look forward to hearing the reports form those that spent the night, watching the weather it looks like it snowed there all night and into the morning.

Glad that you and Marcelo made it back home safely.
