Green Beret = awesome......

A few months back I called G.Feller Casemakers directly about having a new sheath made for my MK VI. I was told by the rep that for a sheath to be made for a CRK knife I had to place my order through CRK.

Bridget was most helpful in this aspect. I will call her tomorrow and see what can be done about having this become a reality.

Hey I'm in for one of the sheaths as well. If someone wants to get somthing going let me know...........Thanks

I've got one pre-ordered from KnifeArt. Not sure what the expected delivery date is but I would certainly be interested in a G. Feller leather sheath also.

i asked, no, begged for one when i was there and picked up my knife. they said they would get one over to the guy for patterns. don't give up, just let chris know and i think he will listen. i'll bet he could sell 50 scabbards in the first order. i will take two of them.

Paul, I have to agree with you on this one. This is one awesom knife. I liked it the first time I saw it in the newsletter but was totally captured by it when I held the one at Blade West. Some of the customers who bought the first batch have even used them and have nothing but great things to say about them.

I don't usually pull anything for my own use but this one is an exception. (If I pulled everything I wanted I'd go broke.) I received some a few weeks ago and they were gone almost as soon as I got them in so I wasn't able to pull one for myself. Either this next batch or the one after will have one for me. I would have kept one the first batch but they were all spoken for by local customers before I received them and it wouldn't have been kosher to make one of them wait for the next batch. I am definitely keeping one of these, though. Probably one of the signed ones. (If they don't all pre-sell again before I get them.)

If Chris follows through with a leather sheath then so much the better as I was considering having one custom made. I'll call and put some on order. Maybe that will add some weight to the requests. The alternative might be a Randall model "C" sheath. Considering the dimensions, one of them should be a pretty good fit. I'll have to check it on mine when the next order comes in.

Hello everyone!!

This topic got me so interested, I just had to sign up and post my input...

My Green Beret is the highlight of my collection... I'd also like to find a SIGNED version as well... Then you could count me in for TWO leather sheaths!!:D

Anyway, since I also own a Project II and two 5.5" Aviators, I have a real affinity for CR leather sheaths. I have always wished I could have a GFeller sheath with an EZ-Lap sharpening hone attached. To me that would be my IDEAL setup...

That's been the overall consensus of the people who have seen my Green Beret. Great Knife, I would just like a leather GFeller for it. I don't mean to detract from the standard GB sheath, I realize it is reqired for many military operations and it does serve a good purpose.

Those are just my thoughts... Looking forward to the possibilities!!

Between then, Chris and Steve at Gfeller Casemakers are working on a leather sheath. It is still in development and so I don't have any information about what it looks like or what price it will be, but we will be offering a leather sheath as an option. I don't anticipate anything being available sooner than the first of next year!
