Green canvas micarta

That's because there has to be at least 5 characters per post, and at least one letter as a lower case or all caps revert to lower case. If you use white as a text color, you can hide that lower case letter. ;)
Btw, any smiley with lower case letters (: thumbup:, etc.) count too.

Interesting - I've never encountered that elsewhere - thanks for the info.

Wow ROENMAN! Those are great pics. Simple green really understated and solid!

Has anybody seen black canvas micarta after it has been bead blasted with really fine particles? The micarta ends up being really soft.

Thank you!
I really like that Tank Buster as well.

I am with you fellas....

canvas micarta is the way to go if you plan on using your knife. G10 is beautiful stuff... but it is cold to the touch and slippery. Canvas micarta, on the other hand is warm and grippy even when wet. I'd LOVE to see more micarta offerings from Busse. It just works better IMO.

.

Green canvas or linen I'd get every time and I'd pay more for it too. I'd love to get some green coating again too

Me too! Canvas in just about any color is awesome !

There are a couple makers that have some cool micarta patterns.

That is why,if I order, it will be the tan canvas micarta.

BB canvas micarta, you say? Lovely stuff.

The old Busse green linen micarta was really nice. And I would love green canvas as an option.

Linen Micarta makes Busse's MAGnificent... :)

So the story on that knife is from the Easton Trunk Show of 2009. ?

Scored this FSH through a proxy, after seeing pics from the show. It was a satin blade, with hand shaped black canvas scales. I leaned on Garth, and he agreed to give it a DCBB treatment on the completed knife, which is not the norm. It turned out great, as you can see.

I thought blasting a finished knife was normal? The DCBB knives I have all show evidence of blasting after the scales were installed.

I would just throw it out there, that if green canvas/linen or tigerhide was offered.... I would send in all of my Black coated busse blades to be re-handled...(granted in a yr or so when the custom shop re-opens...) green handles on a black blade...thats a nice combo...

black canvas micarta does look green when sanded or bead blasted.

I think having a few more micarta options would be great! Linen or canvas, green and whatever else can be dreamed up... Would love to see the green black canvas with busse contouring....

That's the knife you have stuck in my heart, cobalt. Twist it, the pain is bad. Can't take much more.... Can't.......go......on

That's an absolute beauty.
