Green canvas micarta

More micarta, whether canvas or linen is sorely needed IMO. I like the two available now, but I've come to prefer the micartas over the g10 handles.

I really like bruiser offerings, and a blue denim/black micarta could be really sweet.

If there was a multi color micarta and a $10 deal for the new MSe, I'd buy up as many as I could afford.

I wonder if more micarta options are being considered? It would be awesome to hear from the man himself on this issue. It seems there is no shortage of demand for this.

Everytime I order a knife, I ask about it, in hopes that maybe me being annoying enough will push the tide...:rolleyes:
 
I would be fine if they did away with g-10!to offer more micarta and linen. It has to be easier on their tools. I used g-10 as a liner for a couple of knifes and it ate my saw blades quick.

agree 100% I recently started getting some of the knives with green black g-10 simply because there hasn't been an option for micarta...
 
I like the green/black G10.

I have a set of urban camo/green and black G10 knives that I enjoy.

But I think some micartas are a crapshoot.

Sometimes you can mix up the resins and canvas to yield snakeskin or green micarta and sometimes you just get something else.

I may be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

Same here...I always send an email asking about tiger hide or any multi-colored micarta whenever I order direct from Busse - ever since my earliest days in 2010. It's always been a no :-(

I wouldn't count on comparison images being accurate - there's a fair amount of variability in the greens available; so it would depend on the source. It's even possible that they had a special version made specifically for Busse (and kin?).

Maroon micarta is not new....but that is not to say this isn't different from what is offered elsewhere. (I'm not aware of Busse offering maroon in the past; but I am far from an authority)
 
I only have one green linen handled knife, an original vex, but love the color and would definitely order it if available
 
I'm just glad Jerry is having so much fun with this that he is trying some of these new things out at our request... especially since that really gives me hope for a crack at a B13. :)

Green canvas sounds alot like the batch from the 2008 Special Edition Jackhammer & HellRazor

Can anyone tell me what desert sage looks like. In most pics it looks tan but I have read folks saying its got some green it it. I am trying to figure out the best color blade finish to go with the new green canvas. Thanks.

The dirty gray carpet under the black and two sage blades pictures is 90's GM gray interior for reference. Desert Sage is fully tan, no green.

Everytime you non-chalantly post this pic of Busse EPICness I get droolin uncontrollably...what can you tell me about that amazing harpoon creation up top? I couldn't maintain my silence forever - this trio is truly amazing :thumbup: :drools: :cool:

oh and woohoo! Green canvas micarta officially available through Busse! Really happy to have this option available :)
