I've never had a problem getting ahold of Greg just call his cell phone he answers it believe it or not.customer service has always been exceptional from my experience!!!! And who jumps so quick to post a fault without talking to the maker when I have a issue I believe a phone call is better than a email just saying

sorry I wanted to answer to all this earlier but I like to teach people sitting down sipping at my French Vanilla from Tim Hortons eh!!!! so here we go hopefully youtube doesnt catch this one

1. ".....man up" really??? LMAO you tell me to call the customer service line and then you tell me to man up?? hmmmm I left my post in Youtube with my full name....not anonymous or with a different name but with my real full name so Medford will exactly know who I was. I am macho baby!!

2. lets talk business for a bit. Any real professional business will not go to a third party forum and start telling a frustrated good customer to "man up". They would not even shown up here. They would have contacted the customer directly, and trust me you guys have my email in your system, have my email in youtube and have my email here. plenty of ways to contact me. A REAL business like the one I run would have contacted the customer directly and not tell the customer "oh yeah man up and hit me a call". They would have work a resolution directly with the customer who has spent $3K of their products because thats a lot of money that many other small knife companies would like to have. after they would have resolved the issue and worked with the customer, the customer "ME" would have come back here and updated my thread to announce how wonderful Medford INC took care of me. NO of course that did not happen....why??? because we all know that there was no need of a REAL company to come and start typing something just to try to make their names better. Do you think Strider came here and told people to man up when their lock bars failed and produced lock rock?!?! NO the guy took it right on the face and fixed every single one no questions. You want to follow good knife business???? check out Mr Sal in the spyderco forum..... does he go around typing stupid BS like this??? NO he puts his head down and tells you to please send your knife back to him to get fixed. does he fix it?? NO he gives you a brand spanking new one and some store credit. thats how REAL business man do it. I know my daddy told me

2. OK I did not call but I emailed them. You know how I got the sweet position I am now??? because the previous idiot lost a client because he never got the email....guess who got canned and who runs the show!!! I never tell my clients "oh yeah you should have called me emails dont work" well if my email did not get received I wonder how many other emails get lost. hmmmmm maybe just the complains get lost because for sure the orders dont get lost. I run a successful business and customer service. I do not run the business thin on ice asking my customers to pay me 28-30 weeks in advance. I do the work I sign for the funds and we deal with it like business man. Most amazing knifemakers here in this industry do not ask customers for their money 30 weeks in advance.....and guess what do your research on every single one who does ask that from their customer and you will see all their bad reviews.

3. Does youtube erase comments?? this is the first time I heard about it...better tell Jim Skelton to watch out then youtube is gonna close half of his videos hahaha I love that guy!!

4. Do I want this resolved properly?? of course the damn thing cost me $750 and I expect a product that is superior in every way to everything cheaper than that. Do I like my medford knives?? of course I do as I said before, I Love my preatorian G and viper I truly do but thats because I feel they are worth it. Am I making this personal?? NO I could care less I posted this thread to showcase my situation and to review a knife/maker/company. I posted this so other suckers like me would not spend $750 blindly and know the reality of the product. I am a man and I manned up and I did this. Greg Medford and company are allow to express their opinion in every style and manner in every way of communication possible. I guess I can too and I guess I can tell my story straight up and honestly. The beautiful thing I dont have to do anything just let people write the wrong things at the wrong time and that shows the true self of the company.

I could end my posts with stupid sentences as well but why?? I am teaching someone so better be courteous and lead by example I guess

This blows my mind that just because you believe the sheath is not up to your standards that Greg should stop what he is doing and design a sheath that you are happy with.maybe he should bring you the knife personally and get your ideas on all his projects!! I believe your the customer who's name was forgotten and your holding a more personal agenda ? You made sure to add your screen name was it you ??just asking your doing so great in life I'm very happy for you !! see a leather smith for a custom sheath not a knifemaker if you don't like his sheath just a thought.
 
I, too, would expect a properly-matched sheath to accompany a very expensive fixed-blade knife (if a sheath was, indeed, supposed to) and would "complain" (politely) if one wasn't delivered. This comment has nothing to do with my earlier post regarding my worst customer service experience ever.

My dealing with Medford have always been excellent. I can not say the same for the person who started this thread.

I thought it prudent to respond to your frustration with Medford Knife & Tool. Firstly, the post on YouTube was not deleted by Greg, but by YouTube. Greg tries to discourage foul language on YouTube, so he is notified anytime there is a red flag regarding those types of things. Secondly, we have second-to-none customer service and are extremely available either at our factory telephone number -- 623-249-4506 -- or Greg's personal cell phone number -- 480-227-2399 -- when we have any concerns regarding our product, whether it is good or bad. (You can just ask any of our customers who need warranty work on their Medford knives. We respond immediately, and send warranty issue knives out generally the same day they are received.)
Greg and I viewed this post together just a few minutes ago, and neither he nor I recall having heard from you regarding this issue/concern. Also, just so you know...I have never felt more confident about working for a strong customer service, family-oriented company, and I am very surprised at the response in your post. If you are truly concerned about the SAWnto sheath issues, you have to only call Greg or Amy at the factory directly, and we will be available to discuss your concerns pretty much anytime! I am sorry to see someone so adamantly ranting about our product without addressing their concerns directly through us at the factory, and I am very glad that we have loyal customers who notify us when things of this nature arise on forums such as this, or I would have never known about your concerns, and this would have never been resolved :-(...

There's a video up on the Medford channel about this... well, about customer service in general but Greg does mention this thread to.

well I talked to Greg and I am sending the sheath to him. He offered to pay for the shipping and everything. He never got any of my emails. I am closing this thread now and update later on when everything gets sorted out. Greg was professional on the phone so we will see. I really want this to get sorted out and I do apologize if some kids out there learned some bad words from my posts. Sorry

BTW go ahead snyper1ad and portlandreign81 you can make a thread about me. I keep certain sour emails in my PC saved and trust me yours are in there buddies. if someone is curious what they are talking about me just pm/email me I will send the unedited/uncut emails I have nothing to hide.
