I would pay $500 for Rask, probably up to $650, but not $900.
Currently, there are so many good custom knife makers on the globe, and you can buy a handcrafted frame lock knife with a superb quality under $500. I am trying to commission a European custom knife maker to make a liner lock knife with M390. He said it would be $350. Sounds fantastic to me. Of course this is a bit of gamble, as I will never get to see maker’s works in person beforehand.
But I am not sure if I can justify to pay $900 for the simple frame lock knife, even though Rask is an interesting knife, of which most components are crafted by CNC in house. I know that I can buy a unique handcrafted custom knife at half the price……
I wish Grimsmos succeed in their business, produce Rask en mass, and sell them at $450 in the future.
