Grinder safety question

Yeah cmd, I was mostly talking about for woodworking chores on the 4x36, which sort of impressed me for what it is, but the better range of belts is a big plus for woodworking too. The 2x72 range kicks butt, I'm all over this trust me  Actually I was checking out that other thread with the starter set of 2x72 belts, sweeeeeet!

I'm a Service tech for a photo equipment manufacturer. Sorta cool, everything from pumps, and controls, to electrical, drive systems, and optics, blah blah. And nowadays it's all computer driven and networked, so I do a lot of IT too, heh, that's all I did today for that matter.
I guess what turns me on about knife making is that it's relatively simple, and it's my stuff instead of working on someone else's overengineered brainchild.
Woodworking and general other stuffs just long time hobbies.

A word about the gloves.... I will take duct (duck) tape and take the slack off.... The gloves to protect from cuttings, I have tight fitting sleeves or no sleeves at all... If you finders get into it.... gloves may cushion or decrease a cut... but cought in a wheel....

A Doc will be pinning your fingers back on like you would a knife handle... except I guarantee that they will not be ornamental....

Safety is a must..... place guards in place... I asked one knifemaker years ago... why he smokes when he always grinds... he said that was his breathing filter.... Funny HUH...
