For all the campers out here, or just people who enjoy cooking with cast iron I have a #8 Griswold skillet here. Dates to early 1900s I think but I not an expert in dating. This is the large slant logo.
It has been seasoned with 100% flax seed oil upwards of 6-8 times. I have a method I have been using for years and this should be ready for service.
This pan has some stories I am sure, as a result it shows some signs of wear there are some scratches noted in pictures but this is great skillet and the cooking surface is in great condition. There is no wobble. In my opinion these Griswolds are the king of vintage cast iron and beats anything coming out of factories today hands down. I have been using them for years.
