Sir, I am honored to call you My Friend. Thank you so very, very much. Your kind generosity is a well known secret among those who know you, despite your tough exterior shell.

Thank you so much more again and the deer skin lining is just velvety wonderful. I wish I could show it but alas will not do justice in 2 dimension:

Ooh Bob, I really like that set up with your HDFK green handle colors. You had told me that is the one you had in mind for it so I'm glad to see that they pair up gorgeously  Glad that you like it and you're very welcome as far as my side of the deal is concerned.

As you may know, Grog is officiating (eh, not the right word, I meant to say) presiding at his Sister's wedding. I'm sure that he will have us in stitched when he comes around in here bearing the tales of his triumphant day with him :D

Tommy, Yer one lucky dog! Grog's most labor intensive and intricate sheath up todate. I'm guessing that Grog made like 0.15 per hour which is slightly above average wage for IA, after 2018 inflation index adjustment :p

P.S. the Behemoth on the right side is no slouch but haut damn! That Sasquatch set up is oh my! Big!

Since Grog was an 11B and I was an 11C in the Army I received a significant Veterans discount:rolleyes: The Squatch is ONLY 1 inch longer than the BC:eek:, A bit wider and thicker-I have always believed in this saying

Hey guys,

This is quite a bit overdue.. sorry Dan grogimus grogimus ! Not an excuse, but sickness, travel and work got in the way…

Some of you may remember I got very lucky one Friday and scored a one-off, piece of art EDC, that Jo and Nate did the milling and Mark put a crazy-awesome-hollow-grinds on. Here’s the link to the thread: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/fun-friday-sale-one-off-hand-ground-3-edc.1527793/

Anyways, as Nate recommended, a leather sheath was in order. I knew what I wanted (you’ll see below, even better that I was hoping), but, before I even got a chance, Dan reached out to me. I won’t go into details, for privacy reasons, but those of you who know Dan, you know how generous and great person he is! Keeping it short, I now have not one, but two EDC sheaths which are both amazingly great. The one-off EDC sheath is literally A WORK OF ART! Beautiful and very functional, leather is thick and solid, the design and colors are just perfect!

grogimus grogimus Again, thank you so much for doing these sheaths and for being such a great guy!!

Now pics:

Dan’s pic (still the best pic I have of the sheath) before he sent it my way:

And a few pics I took (or tried to… indoor and poor light). Planning to take a few better ones when I get to go outside during daylight..

Friday Fun EDC sheath only:

EDC2 with antique micarta. The sheath is the one Dan sent me right away, as temp housing for the one off EDC, until the final one was completed. It's so nice, I decided to keep it :)>

Happy New Year, everyone!

This is an unabashed yet totally unsolicited PSA, although I always get a chuckle when I know that Grog gets way uncomfortable with such Matty shenanigans! Just a heads up for those you who own a CPK-UF:

I have sent one of mine (the bottom one in my avatar) to Grog and have asked him to do a couple of sheaths for me after he's caught up with his current sheaths projects at hand (IIRC there are a couple of folks who've parked in front of me already). I've also asked Grog to keep it for a while longer if he wishes in case some of you folks can also use his services for your Utility Fighters.
