This batch was 15 knives. 11 of them are Scandi ground. Got some burlap in there, got a BLJ wearing stabalized Black Palm. There is a duo of Scandi's for an order wearing that lager g-10. I did a Scandi Bushie wearing blue and green g-10. I've got four Terassaurs for sale. One wearing Osage over Walnut with an exposed tang. Three with no exposed tang. Joe likes the handle THICK, so two are thick, and two are what I call normal knife thickness. Materials are Green linen micarta, burlap micarta, and Bocote. I have an EDC for an order wearing burlap micarta. And the new Runt, probably just going to go with this design too. The 3 finger handle really makes it a better knife. Also with the boot knife, the longer handled version is going to win out. It is truly a fantastic knife. The Cocobolo, and the EIRW/Paduk are the bigger handle, the black and tan G-10/black canvas micarta is the smaller (still sweet).

Pics.

Its only a centimeter or so, but it really makes the knife.

I'm telling you that scandi looks wicked, and I'd hate have it pointed at me.

Pretty little EDC. Todd's burlap micarta as always, is a thing of beauty.

Looks great on a Terassaur also.

That Terassaur has a FAT handle, and if I had gotten the camera focused on the calipers, then you could tell that. (.940" at the swell)

I think the Bow Legged Joe is perfect for Scandi. You can hear those boxes flying open.

Threw the Scandi BLBK in here just for fun.

These are for an order. My Bushcrafter, and Ladyfinger both in Scandi with penetrator tips.

May I have that bottom BLJ? :)

Is that the black palm? Lovely!

That blue and green G-10 is really fun to finish off.

The three finger Karda. I'm really digging this knife.

This is my Woodsman. Wearing Bocote this time. Black paper micarta liner. Black carbon fiber bullseye tube. This handle is what I shoot for every time.

That 3-finger Karda came out every bit as good as I thought it would

Good stuff all around! :)

Sorry for the delay in posting, but I've been cleaning the drool off my desk:eek:

Soooo much scandi goodness in this thread:thumbup: Does it ever get old hearing that you've outdone yourself, again?

Is that the black palm? Lovely!

Andy had a Woodsman with the stabilized black palm at Blade this past year and it was sweet. I debated long and hard between that one and the Ironwood Woodsman that I ultimately bought. You won't be disappointed to say the least.

That depends on whether or not you want a JRE sheath. The knife is $155. A JRE sheath (the one for the EDC fits) costs $15 extra.

Cool. I was thinking the longer handle bumped it up to $180. If it is $155 though, I'll definitely add the JRE sheath.

Man! I knew I should have had you put that burlap micarta on my Karda. Don't get me wrong, I love this little knife with the natural micarta but that burlap is SWEET. Guess I'll have to buy another one. Darn the bad luck. :D

The burlap is so thick. It would have really upset that little knife.

Andy, your work is incredibly beautiful!

You're on the top of my 'To Purchase When Finally Have Money Again' list!:D

Sterling effort on these Mr R. They look the dogs danglies

Still waiting for postie to bring me my Small Nessie though....threads like this are killing me :(

Looking really good Andy - your grinds are really getting very clean and even.

I love the thick Terrasaur, and I think the small 3 finger Karta makes a perfect 'companion' knife to MANY of your other knives. Maybe, when you get time (hahahaha) make up a set, say a Nessie with your Karta so you have a wider point and a spear point.

Just thoughts - everything looks great.
