I have been delayed guys - lost a week to illness and am still doing my best to get caught up - I am only M/W/F in the shop.

I've prepaid a couple things here lately - well, not exactly lately - and haven't gotten the stuff yet. Honestly, that kind of puts one off helping other makers get their things going.

FWIW, I didn't receive mine either.

I'm only out $99 including the shipping. I know it's not much $$ to some. However, if you look back at the 2 threads Daniel started, and the folks who responded, this could potentially add up to quite a large amount of money.

I'm really disappointed. As a Custom Knifemaker, this reflects on all of us.

I'm guilty of not getting some orders out in time too. But in only 2 cases have I ever taken money up front. Both were special circumstances.

It's really uncomfortable for me to write this, but someone had to do it.
I'll bet most of you have questioned in your mind, "whats going on"............... me included.

I've tried resolving this issue several times, in several different ways, with no results.

In this case, I'm more sad than mad, at the possible reasons for this being handled the way it has been.

This thread just makes me laugh. I ordered from Dan as well and have not received ANYTHING (no refund, no materials, and no communication). When he first posted his deal on the material I suggested that Mickley had the same material for a comparable price. My math was off a bit and Tracy's ended up being a few bucks more, and I was quickly shown my error by two other makers......well here is the lesson. I would've had my material a couple days later, cuz Tracy has excellent customer service and super fast delivery, and the few bucks more would've been well spent.
