Group Flashlight Thread

I upgraded my old Maglites with Malkoff dropins and replaced my old MiniMags with AA LED lights.

Got a Fenix L2D, L1Tv2, L2Tv2, and more recently picked up a 4sevens Quark X AA² Tactical with the neutral white LED, which is a nice improvement over the older Fenix due to the silly turn on flash the Fenix had. Lot more lumens too.

LED flashlights got me back into knives. I figured there must be some nicer stuff out these days.

huh ?
i already have a Muyshondt Aeon - its been hanging round my neck almost 24/7 since i got it
Sorry, I meant to put new in there but left it out. Enrique is doing another run in Ti with the Nichia 219 emitter and with an updated UI. It will have 3 modes to go from low, to medium, to high and still be accessed the same way they currently are.

Mine are all over the house. I have 2 Streamlight SL20s and a Stinger DS, OLD Inova T4, Surefire 6PX pro (junk) and two G2 Nitrolons w/ 450lumen upgrade, Jetbeam 3M and BA20.

Every year I put a rechargeable in a closet, and have a BA20 in my car. I bought them for all of my family members. Chinese AA flashlight technology is insane.

Ah - now i understand.

I would love to get one, but cant really afford it at the moment, and cant justify buying a new one when i havent even got my current one worn in properly yet (its been hanging around my neck for nearly 2 years, but other than the patina on the brass, it looks brand new)
mine is one of the Neutral run he did in titanium a while back
the three stages and Nichia 219 do sound appealing though

My only light is a McGizmo Haiku 2xAA.

G2 Nitrolon for years as well as 3 and 4 cell "D" Maglights. Today I picked up a Fenix TK-15 and love it. Fenix TK-35 U2 will be my next purchase.

Here is my small but bright collection including my just received Thrunite TN31. That big guy has some serious throw! It makes the Catapult look like stock Maglite.

I recently went with the "Metal Tactical" Eniergizer from a local big-box store. It seems to be a good AA light, but I want to go to Lithium bats. Simple on/off tailswitch.

I get a discount on these at my part-time hobby job at basspro. I've got two HL's(one mounted on the ar @ 9 o'clock in front of the AFG), two of the 2l's for around the house and carry, and two of the 1l's depending on what I'm wearing and how small I want the light to be. I always have at least one of the lights with me. I like the HL for walking my dog stoney at night. The 600 lumens really light up an area when I'm looking for other dogs or 2-legged threats. The 2l is what I carry the most and came in VERY handy at school when I was teaching and the power went completely out in the gym. It also came in handy when I was down at lake norris in Tn, bridge diving at 3AM(I could just turn it on, jump and find my way to the shore by the underwater glow). By now, they're pretty outdated technology compared to a jetbeam raptor RRT-0 with the cree XML-t6 that my brother has(alucard0822), but they've held up well and are good little lights.

Here you go. State of the art........1970. A Kel-Lite 3 cell with an incandescent bulb. With 3 D cells it weights 2lb 3.5oz. It may put out 15 lumens. (Shield your eyes!)

Hey moshow how do you like that pocket stubby Ive been think about getting one for a while now. Its a twisty right?
I just picked up a macs xml edc ti, here on the forums, no pics yet. but here is a pic of my collection so far.

Glad I'm not the only one here with a TN31. It's a beast of a thrower.

My new toy and first foray into LEDs, a Nitecore MH2C:

Here are mine: link.

WOW!! How do you afford knives?:D

Surefire E2D and E1B
Mini Maglight LED
Streamlight Nano

Mag is in the bag and Nano on the keys. I mostly only carry the E2D instead of the
Backup. Just as comfortable for me and so much brighter. I have thought about getting something else, but it's too perfect an EDC for me. Pics later.

You guys are costing me money. Tell me if you all feel that going to lithium batteries is the way to go. I have a few flashlights that are better than average and I have never had a leaking battery, but these lithium's intrigue me. Especially for my SureFire (123's) and my Fenix LD20 (AA). Both of these are seldom used and are more for personal protection needs.

Thoughts?

My collection is small, but growing steadily.

Led mag, Sunwayman M10R, Fireworm F1 Ti, Streamlight Microstream, Olight M20, Streamlight Sidewinder and a Coleman something-or-other (my friend kniws I like knives and lights so he bought me this combo thing. Yup, it had a folder built right in)

Don't have any pictures right now, but I have a fenix pd32, a couple of coast led lensers (great lights for the price), a couple of AA mag lights, a regular 3d maglite that was my Dad's, and a 3D Led maglite that stays in the truck

Sooner or later I'm gonna add a sure ire to that, but thy will only happen when the fenix does
