GSO-12 Who has one on order?

Now that they are in production, we should see them begin to ship in about three months. :):):thumbup::thumbup:
 
I am so P*SSED in such a major way for not seizing the opportunity which I had till 4/22 to order one of these, which I just went ahead and ordered an ESEE Junglas (not a big fan of ESEE but this will do for now) which I intend to use to beat the cr*p out of some major wood pile sitting around (it's kinda therapeutic for me, if you will!) In the interim, I will be keeping eyes open like a hawk on any opportunity to score a 2nd on a Monday Sale (nothing that I know for sure will happen). If my plans do not pan out, there is still a chance to order a preproduction GSO 10 and in the meantime, cry all over my well oiled Junglas!

I debated this one for a long time. Everything just lined up. I had half of the money in PayPal and a little extra in my pocket. Add some spare time and you've made a purchase you don't "need" [emoji1]
 
I can't wait to handle the Gso 12. It's got to be around 30 oz.! That's a lot of CMP 3v for the money.

I JUST DISCOVERED I MISSED THE OREORDER FOR THIS! Been working crazy hours, on call 24-7, up at 230-300 am, home at 6 pm. Have barely had the energy to even read threads in the evenings. When I finally do check in, I discover I missed the damn pre-order for the 12.

Oh well. I think Ellie should post LAST CALL FOR X threads with like 72 hour notice that a preorder is going to close.

I guess there is always the monday sales.

Sorry to hear this, man. I don't remember for sure, but I thought she had the impending closing date on the website for a week or two and the date was also in the April newsletter. I know that doesn't help now, but I think she was trying to get the info somewhere.

I think Riz! might have found something to ease the pain of missing the 12. If he did, we're going to need a chop off.
 
13olo?? Today that might happen. I was holding out for a 12, but that might have to take the place.

I'm already on for the 12 so can't afford to add the BG 13olo (and definitely not the CG), but I really hope that somebody (Cobalt perhaps?) gets both so we can see a chop-off :thumbup::cool: The basic handles are awesome, though I prefer the smooth finish and aggressive geometry Guy pushes for his knives...

The 13olo definitely made me sit up and pay attention. Like you say, I hope Colbalt or somebody get both, that would make for an awesome side-by-side. I decided to pass, although that 3/16 BG looked right to me, because I am planning on grabbing a new 10 if any way possible. Can't buy them all unfortunately.




evltcat, do you have the 13olo and the GSO 12 both on order?

13olo caught my attention too but have to pass since I already ordered the GSO 12. I also have a preference for uncoated blades so it not hard for me to let it go. It will be a lot harder for me to pass if the 13olo came in BIG or satin finish.

That being said, I look forward to see someone do a chop-off between the two!

The 1311 vs GSO 12 was already going to be serious business. Based on specs alone.. I'll take the 12 against any other chopper out there.
