I can't wait wait for these. I've got the 20cv in order but I also want to get my hands on the cpm 154 version.

Okay, that 4.7 in the Instagram vid is just dead sexy! I can't wait until little box of goodness comes. The palm swell looks like just the ticket to really lock the blade into your grip.

I would also like to add the following:

Guy, thank you, for your hard work in bringing these excellent tools to us. We appreciate the talent involved with the design and build of them and are proud to own them, use them and show them off. We also appreciate that you sell them at a price that gets a man or woman a top-shelf blade that will last them a lifetime without crushing their budget.

Ellie, thank you, for keeping track of the myriad emails and phone calls that you field. We appreciate the time and effort you take to come in here and keep us updated and answer even more questions.

Kiah, thank you, for the excellent sheaths that you make for our knives. We don't have to sweat finding a decent quality sheath for our new babies, they are sufficiently equipped from the shop with sheath that should last a good long time and not need replacing out of the gate.

I just wanted to thank you guys, as I am sure it is not said near enough.

Yes!

Also if there are more secret steels... For the 2.7 for example. :)
I understand there is an even better steel than 3V known as Z Wear. Not sure how much better but I think 3V with Peters HT should be darn great already.

I have hammered down on my 3v and seen very little to no damage besides dulling. Even then a few strokes on the stones it was back in sharp ready to work.

That is why I am so sold on Survive! knives and decided to place my money where I think is worth.

As I keep obsessing about the 4.7 on instagram, can anyone remember how long it was for the 5.1 to go from heat treat to shipping out to customers?

That Instagram teaser video was amazing. It's so simple yet yet so badass and well thought out. I wish I could have preordered one!

I really wish that I would have gotten in on the 4.7 preorder. Hopefully there will be extras for sale on the Survive site.

Blues-90,
You said it all sir. This is exactly how I feel about Survive Knives and the people behind the product. Nicely said.

Right on, glad to see you posting here.

My hope has been that our community here can offset the negativity on the main SURVIVE! Facebook page. I'm really glad you're helping to make this happen. Well said!

I hope the whole team sees your post!

I have heard it said that most folks never take the time to say something unless it's to say that they have a problem. Well, I choose to be an encourager. I choose to take the time to let these folks know that their hard work and talent is appreciated. The Good Lord knows that we all could use an uplifting word or two sometimes.

I think part of the reason we are all so pumped for Survive! is because of how engaged Guy and Ellie are. I know it's a huge thing for me. Thank you both!

Please take some artsy pictures of yours when you get it! Take a shot of the 4.7 with whatever you do to make the night sky look so bright and alive as the backdrop.

Could I contract you to do this?!??

I will try to come up with some nice photos on actual hikes. I like to actually use my gear but I do not often take photos of gear. This has been a bad year for me for hiking due to a variety of reasons but next year will be better. This is what I usually like to do ...

Lars that is so beautiful! Wish I can be there with my first GSO. Lol! Always love hiking and camping but here where I am it is the hot and humid tropics.
