Gso-4.7

Will the GSO 4.7 be a Monday seller or a regular seller after the preorders are fulfilled? I think it is a nice addition to the GSO2.7.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Monday sales ARE the new normal way SURVIVE! will sell knives. Ellie mentioned in the auction idea thread they might do preorders for new models only, but other than that we're just looking at the Monday sales format from now on... right?

I can nearly feel the 4.7 in my hand !!!
YEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It shall be the best day ever.

Ellie's response got me all excited. NTM does some ridiculous testing on 3v, and really pushes the envelope of what I'd ever expect a knife to do. Combined with Survive's blade geometry... Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!

Can someone please explain the NTM heat treatment and what makes it special. A comparison to the existing S!K HT would be awesome as well. Thanks.

Find the "collaboration between the elite" thread. There is good discussion and some links as well!

The 4.7 has been shipping (or at least seen in the wild) since February, but the 5.1 orders had been taking preference.
Depending on which production schedule update you are going off of, they are supposedly shipping. I have only seen/heard of only one.

The GSO-5.1 preorders were taking up a good bit of Guy's time, adding to the delivery time on the GSO-4.7s. He has been throwing a few in with the GSO-5.1s, but there have not been many to go out yet.

So I really like the 5.1... Think it is a great one knife option, that said the 4.7 will most likely be my most used and carried! Life is good with options like these:)

The production schedule is just full of blades in different steps of the process, quite a bit different than a few months ago. Exciting!

With that said I wonder if juggling so many blades in the various stages of finishing plus completing the last of the 5.1's plus the Monday sales... if the secret test blades and regular 4.7's got put on the back burner.

No doubt the team is beyond busy like usual, but I'm looking forward to when the spot light shifts to the 4.7's
