got my shipping notice last night.
Long story short in case you don't want to read the whole thread: Ordered factory 2nd 5.1 on 4/11/16 and recd shipping notice 5/4/16 - so about a 3 week wait.

Yours were probably one of the last orders. From my personal experience, my second GSO 5.1 order placed on 4/11, was fulfilled about 11 days after the first one was received and from the order numbers, they were about 9 numbers apart. Personally speaking, I was expecting about a month from order to fulfillment, so anything earlier was a pleasant surprise. Also after discovering that some folks are waiting for about a year to receive various models ordered through Starter and Preorder phases, I am very, very happy to have successfully called dibs on their so-called "Ugly Betties" and I will continue to take advantage of their Monday Sales for the Survive! models which I crave, even if it takes them 3 months or so to fulfill.
At the expense of (not) sounding like a shill for Survive!, their products' quality really stumps mass production knives by a multiple of factors, even if their prices are 50-60% more than those mass productions. IMHO, the Survive! knives are also a great deal as compared to "semi custom" competing knives. The fact that one guy (Guy) puts so much time into his tools before they are shipped out, easily places Survive! knives in the realm of those semi-custom knives too.
