Gso 6 eta ?

Dozier is 38 months out and they are a semi production knife. The thing that is irritating with them is the long lead time but you'll see Bob pop up at a show with 100 knives and most of them with some special handles with liners and mosaic pins and such. Randall knives are currently at 4 years.

Respectfully,
apples to oranges... Dozier and Randal are semi custom hand mades and only require a deposit. SKs are customized machined productions with 100% up front payment.. big difference.

Great info in this thread, Thanks. I've been waiting on a Randall since 2012! It's been so long that I forgot which model I ordered. Recently, I cancelled that order on my Randall and lost my $50 deposit. Personally, I despise waiting but the 5 Survive Knives I own are some of the finest performers In my collection. Currently, I am waiting on a Gso 4.7, 6 and 12. Hopefully I'll receive them within the next couple years. I know the Survive team is putting in long days but if production on the 6 or 12 are three plus years out, I might have to consider cancelling the order.

Randall's I will agree with you and the deposit. But Doziers, how much more handmade do you believe they are to Survive? Go to there website and find where it says they are handmade. More apples to apples here.

"**Dozier Knives does not keep any of the knives in stock. All knives are custom
hand-made off of orders. Please contact the office for the current turnaround
time.** "

Right off Dozier's order form... And they do a deposit not 100% up front.. so .... apples to oranges.
