Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Rosewood seems to be the predominate choice today. Yours is another fine example, Ron!

Well, gosh, I guess I'll carry Rosewood today, too. Sigh, the burdens we must bare to fit in.... :D

Thanks Greg! Congratulations on your beautiful Rosewood Hartshead! :)

Great pics guys :)
Thanks Jack! :)

I'm out of step today I'm afraid ;)

No Jack, you’re fine my friend! Remember you can carry stag on any day that ends in “Y”! ;) Even Woodsday! :D

Great Rosewood pics, guys

Emmylou said "I may not be a Barlow, but don't forget about me"

Thanks for the compliment OG! :) Emmylou may not be a Barlow, but she’s still a great Lambsfoot my friend! :D

This will probably be close to blasphemy, but I've never tried an IPA. I've been invited to a rib BBQ on Friday and I'd like to bring something "different". I'm thinking of an IPA that is pretty "hoppy", so all will be happy  Would you or tmd_87 tmd_87 have a suggestion?
For a starter go with an IPA from either Sierra Nevada, Laugunitas or Stone.:cool::thumbsup:

Looks scrumptious. Suggestion: have some more, go to the gym more often
Someone somehow has "synchronized" our brains!

Picked up some beers in the supermarket, tastes like pop!
Taylor has had far too much influence on you. o_O

If a beer has "IPA" or "Light" on the label, I ain't buying! (Or if it's got fruit juice or clam juice.)
Hear! Hear! :D

I like IPAs, but not Light IPAs! o_O Hey Vince, you ever come across 'pickle backs', the left over liquid in a pickle jar, I've seen them served as an after tequila shot in a few fancy bars here?! Maybe they even charge money for them!
Jack that is used here sometimes as a chaser for tequila. Not by me.

You know what they say about IPAs: "it is the male equivalent of an iced latte."
:D

For a minute, I thought I was in the beverages thread! So, without further eloquence:
Harvey is so absolutely right Vince. That barlow is exquisite! The color is so richly caramel. Now I don't know what you decided to do about the etch. If it was me there is no way I'd part with it. ;)

Thanks Jack! :)

Thanks buddy, I forgot about Harry's Law! :D

Good choice  Torpedo? ;)

'Chaser' was the word I was looking for! :D Has that been going on long? I think I first saw it here about 5 years ago or so  I always thought the best chaser for tequila was beer! :D

I am off out early again tomorrow, down to the market, looking for a hand-vice for Dennis, and my mate on the tool stall has bought me a DVD box set about the Crusades he says is very good :) So it's all happening! :D See you later in the day folks :) Not sure what I'm going to pocket tomorrow, but I might go with these two ;)

Yup I was thinking Torpedo from Sierra Nevada, IPA from Laugunitas or Delicious IPA by Stone.

You talk a lot of sense companero :) Leeds, where I live, is a big city (by English standards), lots of that kind of pretentious stuff, very un-Yorkshire, though most of the folk who live here are just ordinary folk who are increasingly priced out of the city centre o_O I had to look up 'dirty martini', you'll be pleased to know I physically winced! :D Funny how they can sell you what sounds like garbage and charge for it  I don't drink out often myself these days, and have always preferred quiet pubs, rarely drink anything other than beer when I'm out. You have a nice evening Vince, great pic of that Hartshead :)
Sounds like Brooklyn, NY. You might not care for a 'dirty martini', but I like olives in my vodka, and don't mind if a little extra brine gets splashed in. ;)

There's an old American tradition known as a Boilermaker, which is a shot of whiskey with a beer chaser, although some folks will drop the shot glass onto the beer for a "depth charge" (I miss the puke emoji)

Is it the weekend, yet?

GAWD  I sure did used to put a lot of 100 proof Wild Turkey Boilermakers down the pipes  Makes my head hurt just thinking about it  Glad those days are behind me :) I used to know a gal that did depth charges with Sake!!
Sure is a very nice Rosewood. Great photo. Grats

I think Mr. OLd_gUY OLd_gUY that you have produced THE Non sequitur du jour :D
Good on you though for getting in a knife reference. ;)
