Although I am of Mexican descent (and Irish!), I do not care much for tequila. Going to buy me some Scotch tonight!
¡Viva Mexico! Sláinte!

Prester John Prester John - Your being of Mexican and Irish descent, you would enjoy the movie "Duck You Sucker" with James Coburn and Rod Steiger directed by Sergio Leone about an IRA bomber on the run who teams up with a Mexican revolutionist during the Mexican Revolution thereby making you a natural for Tequila.

Myself, I like tequila but I like it straight up - no lemon, lime, or salt.

I KNOW I would like that movie! James Coburn, Rod Steiger, AND Sergio Leone!

I do like sipping Herradura silver tequila, but it's pricey. I'm sure I'd like the reposado and the añejo too.

Good day Everyone, hope you all have a good start to the week!

An excellent film, released under a different title here

Some have speculated that the part played by Coburn may have been inspired by Dr John Creaghe, an Irishman, who lived in Sheffield for a while, and who was involved in the Mexican Revolution, being a confidante of the Magon brothers

I also like my tequila straight Ed :)

I'm not going to mention the two movies where Robert Mitchum played a gun-runner during the Mexican revolution. Dynamite was involved there also. Old Sleepy Eyes-

What was that old film where the guys are transporting nitro-glycerine over the mountains in trucks? I actually know someone who was in that (been dead more than 20 years now), but can't remember it's name

Edit - The Wages of Fear For some reason, I thought it was something to do with the Mexican Revolution

I like that idea Jack! Pam made a cheese cake over the weekend, so I’ll have a piece in Charlie’s honor tonight after our evening meal! :D

Very good Ron! :D I love cheesecake, but it seems to be a bit out of fashion here these days unfortunately. I noticed they had it in that "American Diner" I went in at the weekend, and had intended to have a piece, but the breakfast and coffee was so bad, I gave it a miss! o_O

Hey guys, been absent for a little while, my Wife and I recently welcomed twin boys into the world so I am getting caught up on stuff now. In honor of their birth, I had my Waynorth Lambfoot engraved with their initials and birthdate.

I polished off my patina to get it set up for engraving, so now I get to let it age again, I am pretty excited. Keep up the great photos guys, yours look way nicer than mine.
CONGRATULATIONS!! I have twin girls, but they are in their 30s now.
Sleeps overrated anyway!:D:thumbsup:

Glad somebody commented on it :D:thumbsup:, may be too obscure reference, or just nit that interesting...
We headed out of town, and after passing by Kirkstall Abbey, we walked a couple of miles along the Leeds-Liverpool canal to the Leeds Industrial Museum , which is situated in a huge old mill.
