Brach's is the only candy corn, for my money. I like their punkins, too.Just ate a Reese's peanut butter cup and a small Milky Way. And there's more. Plus I bought a bag of Brach's candy corn today--it was on sale.
I wasn't awfully early myself, but our pavement was mostly dry, with just a bit of ice in the very shady areas.Early A.M walk.
Thank you Jack!Great Black Friday choice Ron![]()

Well, that's not a "cheep" photo!
I really appreciate your great storytelling posts and ventures, Chin! Great looking Big'un! Thanks for picking up the torch for OG till he returns! In their absence I might take the liberty of sustaining Old Guy’s tradition of posting a tune for Happy Friday. This one’s from a local Melbourne muso:

Nice shot of a great looking SFO Lambsfoot, Ron! I do love the ebony, hate I missed that one!Good morning Guardians! I’m going to enjoy carrying this fine 2018 Guardians Ebony SFO today!

Nice photo of your '19 SFO Lamb,...Great photo of your Grand youngins!Light duty for the Lambsfoot yesterday. Mostly just pencil sharpening although, a lot of it, as marking on concrete wears down the lead quickly.

Then, Halloween with two of my favorite little girls where my Lambsfoot opened some of the more difficult packaging. One a Vampire, the other a Fairy princess. It's amazing how different siblings can be, just like my own two sons.

A good lamb and a good cup of coffee....daily carry necessities!Happy Friday Guardians! I've been distracted the past month or so with another knife series, but today this gal takes her rightful place in my daily carry. Hope all have a great weekend!

At least you had your trusty Jack-O-Lamb handy!I had the porch light on for a while, but there was nobody out there. I have a lot of internalized twixes to burn off. I won't do it again. Well, who knows what I will or won't do in a year.

I had already eaten the half a bag that wouldn't fit into the little dish.
And what a dandy it is, John!
I'm just having a sandwich and an appleHope everyone is having a good day

Speaking of Texas:

Great ebony, Ed!It's a Standard with ebony covers today.

Just came in the mail. Not perfect but not too bad either. Grind on the blade is uneven from mark to pile side of it. From what I have heard from others it's inherent with the blades (supplied by AW Wright). Blade is well centered. Covers are Rams Horn. Overall, for the money, a little disappointed but pretty satisfied at the same time (if that makes any sense).

Speaking of bread, I made another batch, because the whole rye is a little strenuous. The 1 part whole rye, one part white whole wheat, and 2 parts unbleached came out only a little loftier than the rye, but I forgot to double the yeast, so I'll have to try it again. I still have some of the rye/whwhwh anyway.
Then Laurel's kitchen has an oatmeal and whwh bread I'll try, because oats are good for geezers and I don't like oatmeal or unsweetened Cheerios. I expect oat griddle cakes would be just as bland. But maybe with HP sauce ...

We still have the old Yorkshire stone flag-stones and causeway edges (regularly targeted by thieves unfortunately), but they can be treacherous underfootInteresting pic Jer
Great to see you here Dennis, and hear you are getting stronger - that multi-quote alone must have taken quite an effort my friend! Thanks for the kind words, the flask accompanied me and my pal to the cinema the other night, filled with Jameson's

We have the seeds in the car already
We are leaving for Brockville soon, about an hour from Cornwall as we have been invited to play some music at a church service.
On our back we'll have a little lunch at the bird sanctuary, go for a walk .... and hope the chickadees are hungry today![]()
Mornin' fellow lammie enthusiasts! Carrying my newly acquired JB '19 ironwood SFO. Still thinking about a name for him, and the one that keeps surfacing, I don't know why..., is "Two-Face" from the Batman series. But, this guy is no villain. I'll keep pondering...
