Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That file work sets this lambsfoot into an entirely different realm. A stunning knife, Jack. Congrats!
 
Beautiful knife Jack. Great photo of Stan also. I will dig out the multi-tool I posted earlier as I don't remember the maker at the moment.

Yes, The Ashley Book of Knots is a hefty tome indeed! A conversation with a friend has recently renewed my interest in knots, so I freed my copy from its perch on my bookshelf and have been having great fun browsing through it with a bit of cord in hand and (re)learning to tie the ones that catch my fancy. I also read the entire first chapter, which I don't think I'd taken the time to do before. Mr. Ashley, it turns out, has a good sense of humor. :)

I very much enjoyed seeing all of the photos of the unique Lambsfoot that was made for you by Stan Shaw. Simply stunning! Thank you for taking the time to post them.

When I was a kid, the Sheffield central lending library had two copies of the book, and I borrowed one of them several times, but have never owned a copy. A couple of climbing friends of mine used to share a copy, each Xmas they would wrap it up and give it back to the other, they did it for years! :D I'll have to see if I can get hold of a copy :) :thumbsup:
