Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Your photo essay of your journey was a tour de force. Thank you.

@5K Qs - Thank you GT. Your multi quotes post are a treasure. Valley Jack, a classic looked like it was having tons of fun.

Good Afternoon Guardians.

It seemed like only yesterday when I went past this spot with Linus and Ari. Déjà vu except for the light coating of the white stuff.

Thanks for the cool family skating video, Dan; your ebony lambsfoot photo-bombing the event amused me. :)
Happy you enjoyed it Gary!
My ebony lamb just loves to photo bomb everything :D

My lambsfoot of the week (since Monday) has been my Valley Jack, the 2019 Guardians ironwood lambsfoot SFO:

Superb photography as always Harvey

I hope everyone else has had a lovely day :) Thanks for getting us to 35,000 posts :)
Enjoyed the virtual trip Jack , looks like the perfect way to spend the day. I have never been on a double decker bus... and so much history around where you live !, buildings that are 700 years old that you can see and touch. Sort of puts our lives into perspective.

Congratulation on the 35,000 posts :)
To celebrate I'll post one of my favorite lambsfoot pics.

Thank you Dan, most of the buses that go out into the countryside are single-deckers, but you get a fantastic view from the top deck :) One of the things I like about the area I was in yesterday are a number of impressive Victorian railway viaducts, which tower above the landscape. I didn't take any photos of them yesterday, but here are a few, with a little (Saynor) Lambsfoot content of course ;) I love that photo :)

Glad you're enjoying those two Duncan, some nice patina there my friend :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend, and that you enjoy your Sunday :) I've no plans to go out today, but plenty to do in the house, might even have to get the frying pan out in a bit ;)

From my walk yesterday :)

i64fLBV.jpg

The last time I was at Gallows Hill, there wasn't much there, but local people have constructed a nice little nature reserve, which is coming along.
I thought you were going to say they'd built a nice little gallows.
I bought a special chipmunk-sized trap, but all I've caught is four mole shrews.
One of the things I like about the area I was in yesterday are a number of impressive Victorian railway viaducts,
It's the elevated canals that boggle my mind.

Thanks for posting more great photos of your beautiful country.
Hope you have a restful day at home.:thumbsup:

No, they knocked those down :D

Yes indeed, they always amaze me too :)

Wonderful photos, Jack. I wish they still built structures as beautiful.

Thank you Joshua, me too :) Even today, they are really in the middle of nowhere, sited on farmland, some distance from the nearest road, and not easily accessible for close inspection. Yet, they are not only perfectly constructed, but are built beautifully

I hope you enjoy it John :) Thank you my friend, I have plenty of jobs I could be getting on with, but I'm feeling a bit lazy today ;) I've just had some cheese on toast for my lunch, with a splash of Henderson's naturally ;) :D

Good Morning Guardians

Great mug to go with your great Waynorth Lambsfoot my friend :)

Your work with nature and the fine little critters is amazing
Thank you Harvey !
Dan. LOVE your photo's of our wee friends!

Hi Duncan, after I posted a pic of our friend Chippy yesterday I found out through my facebook feed that a few days ago was " Squirrel Appreciation Day " :)

https://universe.byu.edu/2015/01/21/squirrel-appreciation-day-8-facts-about-squirrels/

So I though I would share with you a couple pics of flying squirrels that my mother and I raised from babies about 20 years ago and kept as pets. I would carry them in my shirt pocket where they would curl up and fall asleep :). They would also jump/glide to me from higher places throughout the house.
