I hope you like it Harvey
I said it before and I'll say it again, it's all Jack's
Jack Black
fault.

My introduction to the Lambsfoot pattern came when I won a GAW that Jack hosted. I can not find that thread, though I looked for some time.

I guess what I love so much about the Lambsfoot pattern is that it is a "working man's" knife. The straight edge makes it easy to sharpen and the blade shape works better for me than other straight edge patterns that I have tried. I guess it's the taper of the blade that sets it apart. Another part of my love for this pattern has to do with the people that visit the Guardians thread.
Here is a pic of the one that got me hooked.
Plus, those curves are sexy.
One from last Sunday,
Jake seems to be my constant work companion lately.
Thanks Kevin, I have always admired the way you put your Lambsfoot knives to work, and the way you took to that humble
'Silent' Lambsfoot so enthusiastically

Great pics my friend
Jack, one of my favorite places I had a bacon sandwich in England was this little farm shop/cafe outside Bath that we visited several times with my brother and his family. They called it a “door step” sandwich (I’m not sure if that’s a common term there, or if it denotes something specific?), and it came with lots of bacon and the option to add a fried egg (I opted in

) on thick-sliced, crusty bread. I never took a photo of the food there, but here’s a picture of Eleanor at the farm with some pigs (aka pre-bacon).

(Seriously, I’m pretty sure I ate one of these guys’ relatives shortly before or after taking this photo was taken.)
I seem to remember you (and some of our other non-American members) getting some interesting results on that dialect quiz, which was only designed to determine American dialects.
We had to take Scout in for a quick follow-up doctor’s appointment this afternoon. They’re only allowing one parent per visit, so while my wife handled the doctor’s appointment, I headed across the street to the liquor store and bought every variety of Samuel Smith’s they had in stock.
A 'door-step' is an old name for any sandwich made with thick-cut bread (the height of a door-step) Barrett

Sounds like a great sandwich

Sweet photo of Eleanor, hasn't she grown?
Yeah, I've done that dialect quiz a couple of times, and I got similar results. I was surprised by some of the vocabulary, as I thought it was limited to certain areas here

Here's where I'm really from
Wow, what a fantastic Sam Smith's haul Barrett!

You'd do well to get a haul like that here from the ultra-quirky brewery (who must have a really good - a probably very patient - US agent), and you pay about £100 for that much beer!

Great pic my friend, the suppin' begins!
'Tis Friday, folks! I hope you all have a terrific weekend!
Looks like a great start to your weekend Dylan, your pics just ooze tranquility
Good Morning Guardians, I'm a bit late getting here today as Windows took over my computer for the third day in a row, locking me out, while it installed some new update I didn't have any say in downloading

It's a 3 day weekend here, known as a 'Bank Holiday Weekend' (guess that's because the banks are closed on Monday

), and the weather is fairly good. Generally those two things combined can lead to a lot of boozing and raucousness - all those merchant bankers with a day off I guess

No doubt, as last weekend, the social-distancing rules will go out of the window, as people flock to the beaches, and there'll be a price to pay for that

I don't really have any plans myself, just carry on as I have been doing. Hope everyone has a great weekend

Thought I'd carry some stag for Stag Saturday
