Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Sometimes she’s helpful, sometimes not so much, but it always fun. :D

“Well fed” is the sort thing of my grandma used to say that might sound nice but really meant “maybe you should lay off the biscuits and gravy.” ;) :D

LOL! :D

Mine too! :D I once heard a schoolteacher refer to a pupil as "over-nourished"

Thanks, Jack! I’m just waiting to spot a Lambsfoot in a movie. :D

One day my friend :D ;)

Thanks Jer, I am a lifetime fan of the clip blade and more recent fan of the lambsfoot, the big flamboyant clip combined with the lambsfoot really make a beautiful pair
That knife just slays me.

Thanks Jack :thumbsup:, have a great weekend my friend :thumbsup:
Hope you'll be back with us soon Rob, have a nice weekend :) Great to see that old beauty again. Here it is in Sheffield

Good morning Jack, hope you have a great weekend. Any exciting plans? What's the verdict on that beer? I've enjoyed other brews by that maker. As always you HHB fits right in with the scene and looks full of character.:thumbsup:

Oh that cherry wood lamb foot barlow looks very fetching.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians. I hope you all are doing well. We finally have a sunshiney morning and a good day ahead. Not sure how much rain fell on southern NC in the last two weeks but I'm glad it is over (at least for the time being):D:D:D.

Good morning Guardians, I'll be without internet a few days, hopefully I can take a few pictures to post next week, here's a recycled picture, have a great weekend :thumbsup:

Rob, a great looking knife.:thumbsup::thumbsup:Very unusual blade combination (well, to me anyway):D.

Good Morning Guardians
Ebony for Black Friday seems appropriate.
I'm off to visit a small Gold Town in the foothills.
Going to rummage through some antique stores with my Wife.
I told her we have until 2:00, then I need to return home and hide from the heat.
John, a very classy looking lambfoot knife. I'll have to acquire an ebony one sometime soon.

A winning choice for Black Friday.:thumbsup:

I like the anchor theme.:thumbsup:

Thank you John :)

That sounds interesting John, exciting even! I hope you find some antique 'gold' my friend :) Great pic

Thanks a lot Bill :) No, I don't think I will be doing much at all really. I've enjoyed every Anchor beer I've ever had, and they've been available for a very long time here, about 30 years I reckon. Glad to hear you've got some clear skies :) Great colour on that stag

Rob, a great looking knife.:thumbsup::thumbsup:Very unusual blade combination (well, to me anyway):D.

It's unusual - period, Bill! :D

Good Morning Guardians, the weekend is approaching, and I'm carrying my Ebony Big 'Un for Black Friday :) Have a good day folks

That's a beautiful Ebony big'un Jack! :)

Sometimes she’s helpful, sometimes not so much, but it always fun. :D
I remember those times Barrett! I know you'll cherish every second. Before you know it, she'll be 36 and living 650 miles away! ;)

Oh, well. I did actually read the GAW rules back when. I'm glad I didn't damage Meako's chances by jumping on his bandwagon too late.
wrZLIy1.jpg

On the rare occasions I do succeed in jumping on a bandwagon, it's usually because the band have been reduced to eating their horses and the wagon is stationary.
In such cases you want to jump off again before they resort to cannibalism.
Impressive bandwagon, Jer, and sage advice about when/why to jump on and off!:D:thumbsup:

I stop for cookies and looks at your beautiful Valley Jack.
Thanks, Harvey.:)
Speaking of cookies, did you once post a photo that included a cookie from Ikea? I seem to remember that image of one of my all-time favorite cookies, but I can't find the post from one of my "too-busy-to-post" phases in the past month or three.

Good Morning Guardians
Your WCLFs are standouts, Dylan and John!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for making me laugh, GT! :D :D Great photos!
I live to serve, Barrett. :)

GT, your Valley Jack is one sweet piece of equipment.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, Bill. :)

Good to see you're getting your daily vitamins and MINERALS, Dennis.;)

Magnificent rosewood Hartshead Barlow, José!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you GT :)
It took a couple tries ( more like 4 lol ) but I was able to balance it on the rock  . Meanwhile the family is waiting so we can proceed with our walk :D
Thanks for the info about your amazing skills and your family's even more amazing love for you, Dan!:D:cool:

Feels like a Pile Side morning.

Perfect pile, ED! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thank you, GT. :)
It was interesting to find that rock along the river.
I thought it was a cool idea that YOU left it there; even cooler that you found the message someone else left.:cool::thumbsup:

Yes indeed my friend :( That photo was actually of Butcher's Row in Leeds, all the markets of Sheffield were bulldozed some years ago, the Castle Market, built on the site of Sheffield Castle, which housed the Meat & Fish Market was the last to go :(
...
Really? In theory, I think it's a good idea. The ones here have a reasonable turnover of books, but I am yet to see one I consider worth reading though  :D When I was a teenager, South Yorkshire Transport, who ran public transport in Sheffield then, announced they were going to start playing music on the top-deck of the bus, which I remember thinking sounded like a great idea. Of course, what they actually played was the worst type of Lift Muzak, interspersed with adverts. Since they weren't very good at advertising, most of the 'jingles' were for South Yorkshire Transport themselves (even today I can still hear some of them playing in my head)! o_O The tape was on a 15 minute loop, and so on longer bus journeys, you'd be forced to listen to them all more than once. Apart from the top-deck, they also played in the bus-drivers cab, and the drivers got so sick of them, they started sabotaging the machines! It was still about 10 years before they abandoned the experiment

Another great pic of Valley Jack Gary :)
...
Thanks for clearing up my misconception about the location of that abandoned Butchers' Row, Jack.:)
The bus music experiment was an interesting story. I'm glad we have nothing like that here, and that bus riders are required to use headphones/earbuds/etc to listen to their audio devices.
Thanks for the photo compliment. :)

...
Thank you GT. Another great look at your Valley Jack.

Good Afternoon Guardians.

Thanks, Harvey. :)
Wonderful photo of your fancy senator with the clockwork cufflinks!:cool::cool:

I definitely remember the song Gary! I graduated from HS in ‘72 and the song came out in early ‘73 if I remember correctly. I can say that I haven’t thought about it in awhile. It’s a timeless tune, thanks for reminding me! :)
Glad you liked it, Ron. :) That's from one of my favorite live albums, but I hadn't listened to it in ages until very recently.

...
I have the AC with me today - it has quite the patina on it as well.

Compelling coloration on both covers and blade of your AC, Dylan!:thumbsup::cool:

Nice knife and excellent photo, Gary.:):thumbsup:
Thanks, José. :)
