Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Interesting that, so often, (mainland) European knives, particularly Italian, are mislabelled as Lambsfoot knives. I wonder why they even use the name? Impressive Photoshop skills! That would look pretty nice as a Lambsfoot (I'm trying to persuade Wright's to make me a shadow pattern in Lignum Vitae). I'm certainly not the best person to answer this question, but it looks like you might be struggling, and possibly lose some of the nail-nick.. Have you tried marking the blade with a Sharpie?
The trick would be matching the angle of the nail nick, keeping just above it. I suppose if I get bored sometime and feel like grinding on something I might give it a try; not a high priority project. :D

You're more industrious with projects than I am, I get worse as I get older, I'm terrible for meaning to get round to it! :D

You guys are giving me a serious case of Stag envy... Beautiful knives, gents!

Happy Monday to you all! I am sporting this guy today. Despite its rather ugly ebony, it is the Lambsfoot I carry the most, as you can probably judge by the patina.

When opening the pull (walk) is nice to about 45 degrees then it goes weak to 90 degrees. The opening and closing snap (talk) is great.
You are only describing the action of every folder that has a Half Stop action on the blade . When you are at 1/4 open , the distance from the Pivot Pin to the Corner of the Tang , is at its longest and putting the most pressure on the spring .
