Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you, Jack. Your pic reminds me that I have that vegvísir you sent me ready to be sewn up onto my vest - along with a few others. I think I know what I will be doing tonight.
I'd forgotten about that Dylan :) I just sent some Viking stuff to another of our members here ;)
It's been rather aggravating today, hasn't it? I feel sorry for Charlie and the mods - and of course, Barry as well - he has to sort through everything.
It has mate! I feel sorry for them too :(
I think I will join you.

A bit of a hasty pic but it's been a spell since I gathered the flock together.

Thanks Dylan, that's a wonderful photo of your fabulous flock  Just amazing :)

Glad your weather has been pleasant Jack, hope it continues. Your HHB is looking good.

It's a fine morning here in coastal NC. I'm attempting to get a few photos of Humming Birds at my feeder but they are very ..."skidderish". Not much luck soar. Got to be more patient I guess. Going to put my HHB to work around the house today and later on take my iMac computer into the shop for some software upgrades that are too involved for me to do myself.

Great shot, really wonderful stag on this one!!

Hello, Guardians!
It's good to see everyone's posts, and I have a LOT to catch up on!

Funny Jack, I just seen this post, and the photo below is one I took earlier this evening, first photo I have taken in quite some time!
Anyway, I'm still trying to get more photos done and ATTEMPT to keep up!😎👍
But the good thing about being gone for a while is it's like rediscovering this thread all over again!
Here's from earlier, Black Betty Bagpipe and my new goggles...

Looks like you're enjoying your first Big 'Un Joshua

Hey Dennis, how're you doing my friend, it's great to see you here? Cool goggles with Betty  That's quite a coincidence, that photo isn't mine, but is one of the very few we have of George Mallory's Lambsfoot knife. Hope you're going to stick around and keep your fellow Guardians company for a while, it's always good to have you here :)

Good morning Guardians, with all the spam posts and random resurrected threads relating to this years forum knife lolly scramble, it was nice to wake up to see this thread on page 1 :) Hopefully, normality will return to Porchland soon 🧐 In the meantime, hang onto your Lambsfoot, and have a good day ;)

Thought I'd carry this Needham Lambsfoot, kindly gifted to me by Duncan Campbellclanman Campbellclanman , with the assistance of Barry gunstockjack gunstockjack , who my thoughts are most certainly with at the moment

I just had a call from my friend with the tool stall. He was at a large social gathering at the weekend, and has tested positive for Covid today. He says he feels OK so far, and is hoping the vaccine makes a difference

I just had a look on YouTube to see if I could spot him in any of the videos posted from the event he went to, but there's that many big, old, fat blokes there, I couldn't see the wood for the trees ;)

That looks like it was a lot of fun, sorry to hear your friend is positive however.

I hope he's ok, and I'm reminded to be careful even though vaccinated.
And hoping to get the 65+ booster on the strength of being almost 65 with a catalogue of woes.
And wishing I could keep my Horsewright wildrag from sliding off my broken nose. That's the mask for a bar.

And this one's out of focus, too. I feel some great disturbance in the force, what else could explain it?

Yeah, a lot of old peacocks re-living their mis-spent youth! :D It's the highlight of my mate's year, and his missus! :D I spotted him on this video from 2019, at 0.48 :)

(Sorry, I think the problem is my very poor internet connection today, I'll try and re-post the link later)

Edit - Really not sure what is wrong with this video :(

Thanks Todd, I hope he'll be OK, he doesn't seem worried - but he's daft! 😏 Before I scrolled down, I thought you were referring to the pepper, and that was cool enough! :D Not as cool as that great-looking Lamb though :)

Good day Guardians! I’m going double-lamb-day today. I hope you all have a fine one and that troubles are far from you.
Have a great Double Lambsfoot Day Joshua :)

Thanks mate, most folks here seem to have completely thrown caution out of the window I'm afraid. I hope you can get your booster. They're doing them for over 50's here, so I should just scrape in ;) :D I got my flu shot yesterday. Those wildrags look pretty cool :)

I've had quite an industrious day so far, raking out the old brambles, cutting them back a bit, and burning everything. Fortunately old blackberry burns pretty good, without too much smoke
