Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone's week got off to a good start (it'd be nice to see a bit more of you) :) I have a BIG beer delivery coming today, so I'll try to get that taken care of, without putting my back out! Got my Hartshead Barlow back in my pocket. Have a good day everyone. Thanks to cudgee cudgee gfor keeping us on the front page

Been doing some research on dyeing bone. Very interesting. Will have a go at dyeing our project.

The depending on results may try the process on this Lambsfoot.😀;)

Fascinating stuff Leon, I wonder if you have to treat the bone in any way prior to dyeing it? I guess there are people who still know
Thought i'd better get some Lambsfoot content up.
Thanks mate :D :)

From the research i have done so far, no, but will do a lot more research into it.👨‍🎓🤣🤣🤣

LOL! :D I guess, the way the dye 'sticks' will depend on the texture of the bone, and I bet there's plenty of tips and tricks to dyeing it, as there is with dyeing anything (like adding salt when dyeing cotton). Sadly a lot of knowledge has probably been lost. It sounds like a bit of a rabbit-hole Leon! :D

Glad you got your beer lugged up the stairs. My back would have been shot after that. Your HHB looking great as usual.

Going to play golf on the links this morning. :) Starting off partly sunny but very dewyo_O. Better take my waterproof golf shoes with me and a few towels;). Won't be carrying my lambsfoot knives with me at golf but I'll be toting my ebony later on. Recycled photo.

Thanks Bill, I'll have to see how my back is tomorrow, my knees are feeling pretty shot already! Have a great time, and enjoy carrying your Lamb later :)

We need some Lambsfoot content
I was going to say-
Of course mate! :D It's all acquired knowledge isn't it, and I'm sure others can also learn from your endeavours? :)
For a price, I trust.
15 cases of beer up the stairs,
Sounds like heaven!

We used to have a miniature toy grocery store. A little plastic grocer, probably a couple of customers and wire shopping carts, slant-top refrigerator cases, miniature produce and packaged foods with real labels.
But this is the best I can do today.
