I'm not surprised Jon!I’m being tasked to redo the flooring in our bedrooms and I am dreading it

I used to Jon, but these days I struggle to wrestle that Hartshead Barlow out of my pocket!Thank you. I’m sure you struggle trying to decide which one to carry each day.

I have some fancy ones, but my favourites are the workers, which I think are far more representative of this good, honest, working knifeAs a side note I love that these aren’t meant to be knives that would win a beauty contest, but are a real throwback to just flat out how useful they are.

That looks interesting Leon, what is the wood? Not always. Not a good photo, but this is a fine a looking knife as you will find.

NOT fractal burning??!!!i have been wanting to do some experimenting with a wood application that as far as i know no one else uses...

Phew! Don't want you going up in smoke mate!@sf fanatic Here you go. Cleaned it, including the covers, flushed and oiled it, then reworked the Rosewood covers. They were okay, but i have been wanting to do some experimenting with some different wood applications. This was the first one, and really like how it turned out.
As it came.

Yes indeed!

Smells like….Victory!
I love the smell of the weekend on Thursday morning.

I know the feeling Greg, though I'm hoping I can get out somewhere over the weekendAfter a few busy weekends, I’m looking forward to some down time and doing a little knife maintenance. Both my standard buffalo horn and rosewood JB SFO are past due for a touch up for their edges.

You too JohnIt's getting close, hope it's a good one for all the Guardians.

It's been a sunny day here, but with a biting wind
