Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

You're over 60... You've earned it. ;)
Thanks mate! :D
Same here, it's used for both working off a probationary sentence and just being good to your community... I've done both. o_O
Not too painful I hope John :)
I am, thank you.
I've been working on my Jeep and visiting with my son.
Sounds great :)
I don't bounce as well as I used to! :D
Beautiful sight. 🤠
There are certainly SOME signs of spring at least ;)
Just got my new watch delivered.
It came in time for me and my son to go see the movie this evening.
The little drawer in the stand holds two extra watch bands, one with a compass.
Congratulations buddy, that looks right up your street, and pretty snazzy  Hope you enjoy the movie :)
Many thanks Jack.

Holy Cow! Sorry Jack. That image belongs in a medical text.🚑 I’ved dinged myself plenty with the”hands full.” No more, when navigating tricky terrain. I’m still learning how to compensate for age-related balance issues. Let the healing begin.

May you and Rachel heal quickly, Jack.

Stellar substitutes, I’d say.👍🏻👍
Thanks a lot Harvey :) I think we all forget we're getting on sometimes  I was just glad not to have broken something  By an unfortunate coincidence, another guy I know had a similar accident last week, and not only dislocated his shoulder, but broke it too. They made two attempts at the hospital to re-locate his shoulder, but were unable to do so, because of the break, and eventually had to fly in one of the countries leading specialists to do it  So I guess my own drama, and even Rachel's, was pretty minor in comparison
Jack,

These are pork sausage stuffed that I bought at market. (Feeling lazy)

When I make them myself, I cook off some breakfast ground pork sausage and crumble it up with drained crushed pineapple. After mixing I then mix again with cream cheese and let it cool in the fridge. Then I put a good dollop on the halves japs and wrap in thick cut bacon.

Give it a try, they seem to get decent reviews from the family
Thanks Pete, they sound fantastic  It is far too late to be eating here, but my mouth is watering! :D
The year 2018 comes to mind. I'll check.
Yup, here she is September 18th, 2018, just out of the soapdish.
Oh yeah! :D I'd forgotten about the soapdish! :D

Have fun with your son, but please don’t post any spoilers
Thanks, Harvey... I promise, no spoilers. :)
Not too painful I hope John
Nah. I was young and dumb and got a Drunk Driving charge over 35 years ago.
Had a year probation and two weekends of "community service".
I don't bounce as well as I used to!
Neither do I Pal. 🙃
Hope you enjoy the movie
Thanks Jack, and again I promise no spoilers. ;)

Rose Beast has some real character Jer, how long have you had her now?

Thanks a lot Todd, it was still pretty cold, with a stiff breeze, but the sunshine really made all the difference. I was glad to get out, even though it was muddy everywhere

Wow that's some great work, we have some very talented Guardians  :)

Hey, I'm over 60! 😃 ;) 🤣

Over here, Community Service is the term given to a form of non-custodial alternative to prison, where you pick up litter, erase graffiti, etc for a set number of hours each week :D ;)

I'm all for serving the community :)

Thanks pal, a sunny Saturday has been quite rare this year, so it was nice :)

It's a good one John :) Hope you're having a great day

Good to see you here in the Guardians thread Jack, how are you doing? :)

Thanks Harvey, that's a sweet photo ;) It's nice to see the pile-side of your Hartshead Barlow, and I like the background :)

Wow Pete, I'm going to have to give those bacon wrapped jalapenos a try some time  What are they stuffed with, if you don't mind my asking? Nice photo :)

I hope everyone is having a good Saturday. It's been a bit of a week of accidents here, I managed to take a tumble in my bedroom a couple of days ago, with my hands full, and collided with the sharp corner of a chest of drawers AND the sharp corner of a bookcase, really went flying! It could have been a lot worse! I have various areas of bruising, but they're starting to heal, and haven't caused me too many problems

Then, yesterday, Rachel fell down a couple of stairs at work, only got a small bruise, but jarred her back a bit. She was in a bit of pain with it today, so we decided to just go for a walk in one of the local parks, which we both enjoyed, and which seemed to be good for her back. I took a few pics to share

Scary Jack. Glad to hear you are both on the mend.

It's a great day for the Guardians when you come back and contribute, Dennis. 🤠
Here, here. He's a beautiful man.💖💖💖
yesterday's carry
A snakewood.:thumbsup::thumbsup:. They are thin on the ground.
Does that mean I can call myself a "social Influencer"... I hear they make a lot of money. 😆
Don't you dare, you are far better than that. They are D grade wannabe never gunna' be hacks. Their market/followers have IQ's that would not break double digits. 🤠
Good morning Guardians. Bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños w/ scrambled
That does look good. I could consume that on a very regular basis.:p:p:p

Same here, but astonishingly the hours handed out never add up too the hours actually done.:confused::confused:
I cooked though :D
Good old Italian simple fair. :p:p:p:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Always looking good. I just love those covers.👌👌👌

Cudgee - I will say it is quite good. I really never have eggs without my secret weapon. Marie Sharpe’s hanenero sauce from Belize. Here are a couple of my favorites. I highly recommend this sauce…

As chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel and hearty handshake to our newest member of the Guardians of the Condiments. 😁

I mention working on my Jeep a lot, I thought you guys/gal might want to see the progress so far... I do all the work myself.

Looks good, John. I had a two-door Jeep for a while. It was mostly stock but still a lot of fun. I miss being able to drive around with the doors off when the weather was nice. 😎

Touched this up today, had a quite Sunday afternoon so thought this needed some TLC. I have a way of testing for sharpness, and this passed easily. Amazing the difference good quality stones make, this was already sharp, so only needed a touch up with a 4000 grit Belgian Blue stone, fast becoming one of my favourite stones.

The strop just proves you don't have to spend a lot of money. It cost me 70 centsUS or 1/2 a quid. o_O:)

Glad to hear you weren't broken on the wheel my friend, we all make mistakes :)
Thanks Jack, and again I promise no spoilers. ;)
🤣
Scary Jack. Glad to hear you are both on the mend.
Thanks Jeremy, could certainly have been a lot worse. I used to have a neighbour, who was a postman, who had a similar fall, hit his head on a cabinet, and ended up with brain damage, and I can think of plenty of horror stories from the home, where folks I've known, ended up with the most unlikely injuries in the most mundane of circumstances. Be careful IN there folks! ;)

Good cherry tomatoes, garlic, bacon, asparagus, tomato pesto, good olive oil, and some decent pasta. I do like Italian food :)

Thanks for the recommendation Pete :) Seems I can get that on the big river site - at a heavily inflated price no doubt! :D I'll give it a try :)

That's an impressive-looking edge Leon, nice work mate :)

Good morning Guardians, hope you're all having a great weekend :) It looks like another nice day here, but I need to do some stuff in the house today. Hopefully, I can, at least, get half an hour in the garden at some point though :) Sticking with my Hartshead Barlow

Very nice Jeep. I used to have one (Wrangler) and loved it. I'm basically a wrench head myself but as I have aged so has my physical ability and I just can't do some of the things I used to love to do.

Jack, very nice photo of your HHB. Pile side stag is gnarly!:)

Today is another gorgeous North Carolina day. Preparing my butchering knives for making home made sausage so I decided to touch up my Ebony whilst I had my sharpening stones/gizmos out.

Thanks Bill :) I learned to drive in a Willis Jeep :) My first job was as an apprentice mechanic, but now I look at most engines, and scratch my head! :D I'm hoping to get time to do some similar maintenance work ;) Nice photo

Another pic from yesterday Crocuses in the background)

How do you look after the paintwork???
I usually do a little custom pin striping... with rocks, trees, and brush. 😁
I miss being able to drive around with the doors off when the weather was nice
Oh yeah, I can't wait to be able to take the top off. 🤠
Hope you're able to get to the garden before the next wave of named storms rolls through. ;)
as I have aged so has my physical ability and I just can't do some of the things I used to love to do.
Why do you think it's taken me so many weeks just to get this far on my Jeep? I work for a few hours and then let my back recover for a week.

I know the feeling John
I enjoyed the time with my son last night, probably more than I enjoyed the movie... it was just "okay". 😒
Yes, I've seen very mixed reviews. A mate of mine has Tuesday off work, and I said I'd go to see it with him. Not sure I'd bother otherwise. Cool pic John
