Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hope so buddy

LOL! Thanks John 🤣

It's really great for kids John, there's a lot of events on, throughout the week, that I never get to go to. Usually it's held in February, but they changed the dates at short notice this year, which led to the loss of some of the regular venues, and a lower attendance by re-enactors and traders. There were still a lot of Norwegians there, but less than in the past I think. I'm sure your wife would love it though :)

Not that I saw my friend, but there were definitely less Vikings around than usual. We watched a couple of hundred file past on the march, and were thinking, "Is that it?!" 🤣 It does look like the Blue Bicycle has been sacked though!😁😉

What was it like Pete, looks interesting?

You could do worse! 😁 I'm afraid that is routine for me Harvey, it's got to the point where I'm forgetting the names of people I've known for decades, or failing to recognise them. Obviously this is very embarrassing, but it's also distressing. Here, it's not just a problem of short-term memory, but with the number of multi-quotes I do, and the fact I'm usually trying to get them done at speed, and multi-tasking, interrupted by phone calls and texts, etc. I make other typos for the same reason. Sorry again, I wish I could guarantee it won't happen again, but I can only think of a couple of ways to do that. Thank you Harvey :)

Thank you for all the time and effort you put in, to bring us such great pics Dwight :)

It was excellent Jer :) I'd have liked to go over again today, but I've got too many other things to do unfortunately :(

They sound like Scooby Doo sandwiches! :D

Thanks Barrett, it was good :) I think my mate is heading over with his kids today :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, particularly our members in the USA  I've got a bunch of stuff I need to do today, so I better get on with it  Have a relaxing and peaceful Sunday Guardians

Great photo of you Damascas Lambsfoot, Jack.
Now that's a sandwich!

Good Sunday morning Guardians (or afternoon) where ever you may be. Went to a very nice get-together last evening at our community swimming pool and recreation center. Early Memorial Day celebration.

Thank you very much Bill, I enjoyed the sandwich! :D That sounds like a lovely evening :) Great shot of your Hartshead Barlow :)

That looks so yummy, now i want Breakfast Burritos. 🤠
We had a place here in Loomis that did their own smoked meats.
They would take the leftovers from dinner and sell breakfast burritos in the morning.
Sadly, they stopped doing it. But on the bright side I got to buy their very last one.
Thanks, I love breakfast burritos, we should have some leftovers. 😉👍

What was it like Pete, looks interesting?
Smelled fantastic when I pulled the cork. Pretty sure this is the first batch from the distillery.

Light peat, lots of flavor. I like it.

Now take all this with a grain of salt because I opened it for a nightcap. Had a couple beers first. And a margarita with dinner. And a couple of shots of some killer rum. 😆😆

Great photo, Dwight! 😎 Interesting looking smoker, I don’t think I’ve seen one quite like that
Thanks Barrett. A friend of mine built the smoker. It uses water (steam) as well as smoke.
Sounds great, Dwight! I haven’t tried a brisket yet on my “cheater smoker” 😁, but I’m going to give it a go some time this summer. Haven’t had boudin in years, but when I was a kid we had neighbors from Louisiana who made it from scratch and would always share some with us.
Last time I had homemade boudin was in Gibson Louisiana in the Atchafalaya. I believe it was squirrel and oh so good.
Thank you for all the time and effort you put in, to bring us such great pics Dwight
Thank you my friend. I really enjoyed the photo coverage of Viking Day. The image of the guy with the little girl on his shoulders was spectacular!
Did some pulled pork for a get together today. Turned out pretty tasty. I pulled it this morning, and did some sampling of course. Never before have I had meat sweats in the morning.
Oooooh that looks so delicious Todd.

Sounds like a great evening to me Pete.
I'll start driving. I should be there by Wednesday.
Could you swing by here and pick me up?
Going for a haircut, have to look good for graduation ceremonies.
Oh you will look good. After all your mom said you are a handsome fellow. ;)

You do so much here, as well as personal stuff, multi-tasking would seem to be a major contributor. I also tend to have trouble remembering the names here. The first thing I do is check your posts to remind me of their real names.

Nice looking Barlow and sandwich.

Good Morning Guardians and Happy Sunday.
Going for a haircut, have to look good for graduation ceremonies.
Having friends over tonight for Smoked Tri-Tip, play some Mexican Train, and talk the night away.
Congratulations. Have a great celebration.

A Heartfelt thank you to all who sacrificed to keep us free.

Good Morning Guardians

Great picture, Jack. 🤠
Hope you're relaxing today after fighting off the Viking Invasion.
Thanks buddy, I had to work unfortunately, but I shut up shop at 4.00pm to meet up with my pal, and his daughter, and after a walk in the park, and feeding the animals at her school (it's half-term here), me and my pal got some beers, and ordered takeaway, while she played out with her friends. His missus has taken their lad down to London for the weekend (pre-birthday treat), to see the British Museum :)
Thanks Jack. 😊

That looks like a great time. 😎👍
Thanks Todd, it was fun :)

Good Morning Guardians
Thank you for the kind words Harvey, love that pic of your Hartshead Barlow :)

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday :) The weather has been pretty nice here, and I have been glad to see the tail-end of the day. While I was waiting to meet my pal, I got talking to a couple of guys from Burundi, who were looking for directions. I don't think I've ever met anyone from Burundi before. My pal turned up soon after, and we enjoyed the early part of the evening. After our discussion the other day, I decided to adopt a new 'comfort animal', 'Lentil'! 😁;)

🤣Yeah, I thought it deserved another day :D :)

Mmmmm 😋 Spanish chorizo, Red Leicester cheese, peppadews, vine tomatoes, tomato and chilli relish, and sweet chilli and red pepper crisps (chips) on sourdough 🤣
Holy smokes, sounds amazing, Jack. Always did appreciate the crunch of a chip on a sandwich
