Great stuff Steve, and thanks for the kind words :) I ended up having quite a lengthy walk around town. I'm still limping unfortunately, but it was nice to get out and about

Thanks John, after leaving Charlie's Cafe, I headed into town, and accomplished quite a bit, as well as having lunch ;) The place I was going to eat was closed today unfortunately, but I managed to get a hotdog and fries in the market food hall :)

It's a nice bright, sunny day here at the moment, though I think the temperature will be in the 60's.

That looks delicious. Love a good hotdog…

Had to laugh when my server, currently studying for a doctorate, was unable to add £9.25 and £1.75 together though! :D She told me that she was in the top grade for maths at school too! :D
I find that some people are good at calculations while other are good at functions.
My wife is amazing at calculations, but can't figure out a simple linear function to save her life... whereas I'm garbage at calculations.
Recycling such a fine image is good. 🤠

LOL! 😁 The girl asked me if I was good at maths, I told her not all, but that I had to stand at the front of the class, and recite my multiplication tables on pain of a beating! 😳

Good morning Guardians, I hope your week got off to a flying start, and that, (if you're working), it flies by ;) It's a nice bright, sunny day here at the moment, though I think the temperature will be in the 60's. I'm looking forward to getting out of the house, starting with a walk to Charlie's Cafe :) Got my Hartshead Barlow back in my pocket ;) Have a good day Guardians

Here too Pete, 98 degrees today. A new record high if it actually gets that hot. The current record is 97. 🥵

I have see a couple of A. Wright (ltd?) listings that show a different blade profile. Sort of a cross between a warncliff and a Lambsfoot.

I don't care much for this version but I was wondering what Wright calls it.

here are screen shots I grabbed.

They call it a Lambsfoot - But then they call the knife a 'Senator' 😂 I can't say I care much for it either 😏 I think they think it looks 'fancy! 😂 That knife was an attempt to add something '"more high end" to a range of inexpensive working knives, which I think failed, but you can see the thinking (and lack of thereof) behind it. Strangely, two people claim to have come up with both the name and the pattern, the current owner, back when he was on the shop-floor, and a Sheffield dealer, now retired, so it could be that it was originally an SFO. Personally, I think that with a bit more thought, and a small amount of knowledge of cutlery history, they could have come up with something better, but sometimes it's easier to steal ideas than have your own
So do I
Nice looking lunch Jack. 😋👍
Thanks Todd, it was kind of filling! :D
Good morning Guardians. Breaking down some boxes at work this morning.View attachment 1935729
