My favourite soft drink
My favourite soft drink![]()
Last night, insomnia had me thinking I should go away somewhere for Christmas, as I haven't been anywhere for ages, and missed most of the summer through sciatica. I miss the days when you could just walk into a travel agent, and wave money at them. I've spent hours on the internet!I decided I wasn't pinching pennies, and booked an all-inclusive to Fuerteventura, with all the works, and flights from my local airport. You even have to pay for the seats, your bags, and in-flight food these days! Hopefully, it'll be relaxing, rather than stressful

What great pics!Absolutely lovely day today and probably the last warm day for us here, high of 79° F. I decided I would take the day off of work and fully enjoy it. I took Cassie down to the Mississippi River dog park and she and I both had a great time hiking and swimming, although I left the swimming to Cassie

Down at the river, the buildings in the distance are part of the Historic Fort Snelling which sits at the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers.

Lamb is my carry again today. Great memories of this concert almost 13 years past. Most were in costume and the place was bananas. I will refrain from further detail.

Good sir, may I hazard a guess? Whiskey??On my first day of a 5 week break up the bush, house sitting my Brother In Laws house, he has gone overseas. Not the most pleasant of starts, on Flood Watch with 2 days of rain on already saturated ground and swollen rivers, tomorrow being the worst day with heavy rain predicted. This is a shot of the decking with a rain gauge on the fence. It is already filling so it will be interesting to see how much we get. Off to a good start, was checking into the guardians and got up to do something, do reckon i can find my glasses, i am going completely silly, lucky i brought a spare pair. How can you lose a pair of glasses in a ten foot radius????.
