My favourite soft drink :)

Last night, insomnia had me thinking I should go away somewhere for Christmas, as I haven't been anywhere for ages, and missed most of the summer through sciatica. I miss the days when you could just walk into a travel agent, and wave money at them. I've spent hours on the internet! I decided I wasn't pinching pennies, and booked an all-inclusive to Fuerteventura, with all the works, and flights from my local airport. You even have to pay for the seats, your bags, and in-flight food these days! Hopefully, it'll be relaxing, rather than stressful :D

Congrats Jack, that's sounds like a great holiday !

Absolutely lovely day today and probably the last warm day for us here, high of 79° F. I decided I would take the day off of work and fully enjoy it. I took Cassie down to the Mississippi River dog park and she and I both had a great time hiking and swimming, although I left the swimming to Cassie 👍

Cassie in the river, you can see how low the water is because of the drought.

Sounds like a wonderful idea. I applied the same method for a trip to South Africa in my younger days. Never regretted a moment of the experience.

Kutmaster Barlow, new to me and pretty much unused I think…apologies…just found out this is a sheepsfoot not lambsfoot 😬
It IS a Sheepsfoot, would you mind editing it out of your post please? Thanks

Dwight! This one is amazing man. 👀❤️

🩸 Lamb is my carry again today. Great memories of this concert almost 13 years past. Most were in costume and the place was bananas. I will refrain from further detail. 😎

Good for you Rufus :) I wish I was younger and able to do something more adventurous. I was looking at this, but I'm just a bit past it now I'm afraid :(

I had to look up Fuerteventura. Will you be wind-surfing?

It looks like a great place that will do you a world of good.
I'd say not Jer! :D Maybe I'll get to see some dolphins, or a volcano, but I reckon I'll just be doing some reading, and enjoying the weather :)

Thanks fellas ! 👍

On my first day of a 5 week break up the bush, house sitting my Brother In Laws house, he has gone overseas. Not the most pleasant of starts, on Flood Watch with 2 days of rain on already saturated ground and swollen rivers, tomorrow being the worst day with heavy rain predicted. This is a shot of the decking with a rain gauge on the fence. It is already filling so it will be interesting to see how much we get. Off to a good start, was checking into the guardians and got up to do something, do reckon i can find my glasses, i am going completely silly, lucky i brought a spare pair. How can you lose a pair of glasses in a ten foot radius????.
