I came into town to get a haircut, but the barbers I was going to was closed, and one of their windows had been broken and boarded-up (probably drunks fighting at the weekend, as it is near a bunch of late-night bars)



I did the errands I needed to do, and then decided to have some lunch, chicken-burger didn't taste as good as it looks unfortunately



It's freezing here today, and I was surprised to see there were any traders standing at all in Leeds market. Got the rest of my shopping done, and am just warming up with a hot chocolate and a mince pie

Thank you, my friends... It's good to be back.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, at least your team lost to a "playoff team'... we lost to a team that traded all their starters for draft picks.

Am I the only one that shaves without using shaving cream? Or do others not use it too?

I like the "Merry Christmas" juxtaposed with the broken window.
I hope the chocolate and pie tasted extra good in the cold.

Mine has nothing to do with anything other than just being lazy and cheap.

At least the crime was caught on camera.

Yeah, I was trying to find a photo I took a few years ago, of Leeds city centre's rottenest pub, at Christmas, without success I'm afraid. It was of a sign in the window, which read, "Shoplifters will no longer be tolerated!" The window had been broken

It's about 20 years since I last shaved with cold water! It was at a tap in a field, while camping. There was just me and another feller, the ex Para whose 50th birthday party I went to in the spring. We had a lot of mutual friends, but only knew each other by repute, until then. It was a nice place to meet! I can still remember having my head shaved with cold water and a blunt razor, in 1978! I'm glad for all the comfort I can get these days!

I do when i carry it. I've decided to carry it for a few days to get more use to it. My thoughts on this knife are all over the place at the moment. If I can process those thoughts to where there understandable I'll try to share them.

You’re not. I use a Brio trimmer. No lubricant, but a nice hot shower afterward, (TMI?).
