Thanks Dwight. It’s actually stag. It’s a nice lamb that was gifted to me by sbh06 , but it had rather lackluster stag covers so I sanded and polished them.

Ahhh... I remember that now. Vast improvement. Really a beautiful lamb.

Afternoon guardians. I just got home and made a spiked coffee. Great Northerns in the crockpot and a whole 11 days of no work starting tomorrow. Could not be happier. Feels good. Hope everyone has some downtime to recharge and focus on what is most important.

This is what's left of "Big Odie" a Hereford bull I had years ago who sired over 200 heifers and bull calves in just the last year of his life. He loved his work.

It’s funny that the gate code to get into my brothers ranch in central Oregon is 45-70. Next to the gate is a sign that says, “If you can read this your in range“ . That and , “We don’t call 911”.

My favorite rifle round.
It always cracked me up that such a powerful round is shot out of such a light rifle... I get the reasons, but man it's brutal on the shoulder.
