It's breezy today on Fuerteventura, probably more typical than what I have experienced so far, but it's still warm and sunny. Still hoping to go out for a stroll after lunch 🙂👍

I hope my new crown on the split molar never comes off. She really hurt me putting it on.

I hope your back pain eases up for you so you can enjoy your last day of Holiday !
I had to do the same thing to a broken tooth last year, I used a small diamond file to smooth it out. :confused:

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a fab Christmas. I definitely don't feel like doing any boxing today! 😱 I woke up the early hours, and my tongue was swollen and painful from rubbing on the Jaws-like edge of dental filler left by my lost crown, so I had to do some makeshift dental work, smoothing it out as best I could, with the help of the back of a toothbrush and a small file! 🙄 I suffered with my back this week because of the soft hotel bed, but this morning I am struggling! Thanks Jer, I HATE getting old! I did manage to get my shoes off and on again, and had a nice paddle in the Atlantic, and a beer at a bar on the beach, where they called me cabellero, and gave me tapas 🙂👍

Thanks Steve, it's a lot better this afternoon. Just sleeping on a soft bed unfortunately, and I suspect it'll be the same tomorrow 🙄 Sorry about your tooth, bizarrely I can recall losing at least 2 other crowns while away on holiday! 🤨👍

Thanks pal, I think a lot of it is just old age unfortunately ☹️ When I was a rock-climber, I could get my foot up to my ear, now it's a struggle to get my shoes and socks on! 🙄 I had a nice afternoon though, I forget how long it has been since I last paddled in the sea. I had just got my feet wet when a large wave came in, and soaked my trousers up to the knees, reminded me of being a boy! 😁👍

I thought I'd go and have another look at the lighthouse for Duane, but there wasn't really anything more to see...IMG_20221226_135221_HDR~2.jpg
I paddled along the shore for half a mile, and then headed over the sand to the afore-mentioned bar, where I finished my book with a nice cold beer 🙂

On the way back, I spotted some more ground squirrels, green parakeets, and a few other birds. I went for a coffee before heading back to the hotel. My last night here, so I might go out for dinner, if I can summon the energy! 😁👍

Jack Black Jack Black soft beds are the worst thing ever. One night in a soft bed can put me back to using my cane. On the other hand, you are now being acknowledged as a cabellero, so that's good. Hope your flight home isn't too rough on your back.

Thanks Harvey! I think I might have been cursed! 😱 I've got pain on the left side (same as my lost tooth) of my throat now, so I'm hoping I don't have an infection! 🤞👍
