The best kind of days!
Thank you, I noticed a small crack near the center pin on shield side that I didn’t notice originally. Not sure if it was always there and stabilized or if it appeared as the knife Is aging a bit. Not too concerned but uggh. I’m looking forward to using and sharpening this to put a nice clean crisp edge on it. The edge it came with is a little wonky. The best kind of days! That's a looker Gus

Sorry to hear about those issues Gus, always annoying, particularly with a knife you've spent a fair bit onThank you, I noticed a small crack near the center pin on shield side that I didn’t notice originally. That’s awesome Barrett and what better treat for the kids than Dippin Dots!Hope y’all are having a good weekend. We went to a baseball game today. It was Scout’s first time.

I’m not sure either of the girls quite share my enthusiasm for baseball, but they did seem to enjoy the overpriced concessions.

I had a beer (Summit Extra Pale Ale) and a bratwurst. The beer was good, and I thought the brat would be a good move here in upper Midwest, but it was disappointing. I should’ve just gone with a hot dog (which it turned out was both larger and, of course, less expensive).
I had my Alber’s Lambsfoot with me at the game. (Surprisingly, Target Field has a knife policy that allows you to bring in knives as long as the blade is under 3”). Even so, it’s hard to be inconspicuous taking knife pics at a baseball game, so I didn’t.
The Twins lost to the Royals, 3-2.
LOL!Very good Bob!
I hope you get some sunshine soon brother
Thank you for the kind words
I'm just having another cup of the delicious Kona coffee

Thank you, but that's probably even more true of you than it is of me, Bob. You are remarkably generous (as are so many on The Porch). Hope you're having a good Sunday!A fine choice to savor. The Wright's seem to be a remarkable couple to have as friends.
Dawn was delighted to hear that you were enjoying the coffee!
That's great Tyson, it's delicious, I hope you saw my post yesterdayToday we're gonna aim for rest and restoration. Church, run the dogs around a little, maybe build our cornhole set. We bought the lumber and the hardware yesterday, so it's just some cuts and screwing it all together. (Unfortunately we don't have bags yet, but we'll get there.)
Just a chill day. The HHB will be the perfect accompanist to all that. Thanks again toJack Black for his wild generosity (which I believe many of us Guardians have experienced).

Yeah, I either tuck it behind my belt buckle and tell them "oh, must be my belt buckle..." if they've got the walkthrough detectors and wands or if they only have wands, I just hold it in my hand behind my phone when I lift my arms up to let them wand me. Most of those folks aren't very conscientious and I have a strict "always knives" policy.Unfortunately the theatre had a no knives policy (which I had thankfully checked beforehand) and metal detectors, so the Albers had to stay in the console of my truck.
That's a beauty Steve, great pic too![]()
