I enjoyed it BillI usually start my meal with the pepper, but bite it off about 3/4 of the way up. It was hot, but not too much. The hottest thing on the plate is the freshly-made harissa, which is delicious

Looks like a great time, thanks for sharing, Barrett. No Lambsfoot pics from the baseball game tonight, unfortunately. I did take one quick knife pic, but you’ll have to check out the Merle thread for that; it wouldn’t be allowed here.
I did have an amusing experience involving my stag HHB when we got there. As I mentioned, Target Field allows pocket knives with blades under 3” inside the ballpark, and while they do have some fancy-looking metal detectors, I’ve never been pulled aside or asked to empty my pockets going in there before tonight. They usually just wave me on through.
Well, of course, tonight they ask me to step aside after I go through the metal detector — maybe it was because I had two Barlows, all that extra bolster metal, I don’t know — and the nice older lady I was directed towards asked me if I had anything in my pockets. So I reach in and grab a handful of stuff from my right front pocket — keys, pen, and my HHB — and held it out for her. She immediately points to the knife and, in a Minnesota accent that would sound right at home in Fargo, says, “Ope! That’s a no no!”
I politely reminded her that, per the policies listed on their website, pocket knives under 3” are permitted. Without really replying (I think because she knew that was indeed the policy), she picked up my HHB, opened it (I was surprised how easily she did this, as it does have a fairly stout pull) and held the blade against her ID badge, which must have been about 3” long, to check it.
Seemingly satisfied with the length of the HHB’s blade and my knowledge of ballpark policy, she handed the knife back to me. She briefly made a motion to close the blade, before suggesting that perhaps it would be better if I closed it myself. Yes. Thank you.
The game was enjoyable. It was a Star Wars theme night, and the girls always get a kick out of the theme nights. The last game we went to was Harry Potter night.

After the game, they had a Star Wars themed drone show.

While the drone show was impressive (I think, like fireworks, it’s something that’s a bit difficult to capture well in amateur photos), my favorite part was when one drone would occasionally just drift randomly out of formation, then, when it got far enough from where they had launched, descend somewhat rapidly into stands. I guess it’s kind of like catching a foul ball.
Oh, and I passed on attempting the 9-9-9 challenge. Mostly because I don’t think I could afford it with ballpark prices.![]()

That’s a fine looking flock you have there Paul.Hope everyone has had a good start to the weekend. Cleaning up my knife area and wanted to share the state of the lamb collection. I set out a year ago to have a good 7 day set of lambs. Well I like all knifeaholics could not stop at 7 and have 10 awesome lambs in the rotation. Some bought and some gifted. I am honored to have these wonderful knives. Now the hard part. Which one do I carry today? Feeling like a Charlie lamb kind of day.

Back when I used to travel late at night I would often stop at WH. Their hashbrowns - scattered and smothered (?) I think - were always a treat. Good waffles too.I think it wasr8shell that mentioned Waffle House a few days ago. Got sidetracked and didn't answer but that place is on my drunk Mount Rushmore of places to eat late at night. I spent many of nights devouring the delicous food there as Private and Private First Class Paul. Like

First time I went there and the waitress asked me if I wanted my hashbrowns smothered, covered, or chunked.
